Avery is a nice boy name and when I hear Aspen I feel like the parents want to appear fancy but aren't because they think of Aspen Co. Then I think of Aspen Dental.
We are looking for A names and these are the only two we could agree on that are pretty but not very common. We think of the Aspen trees in Colorado where we love to visit. Not necessarily the city or dental office. We definitely aren't trying to be fancy.
Louise is also a passed down middle name in my family. I think it works great with any first names starting with a vowel. Could consider E and O names?
Seems like every three days there's a thread in which someone wants to name their daughter Avery.
I'm not slamming you for it OP, just can't believe how popular it is
Anyway, Avery on a girl isn't my style and when I hear Aspen I think of the ski resort.
Aspen is better than Avery if you're dead set on one of those.
I love a PPs suggestion of Amelie though, everyone goes for Amelia and I think Amelie is much prettier and you hear it less often. I'm considering it as a middle name choice.
Love Louise though, as far as family names go it's a good one
Love Louise! It's a family name on my side as well that's used each generation. I almost wished I would have saved it for a first name.
I guess Aspen. I'm not a fan of Avery on a girl. I know a ton of my college friends are naming their baby girls Avery and I have never met a boy Avery IRL. However, I watched In Through the Pines or whatever the movie's name was and Bradley Cooper played an Avery and it just worked and I saw how masculine it was.
IMHO aspen is a boy's name and Avery is way popular. I like the suggestion of Audra and also amelie but all I can think of is the film amelie and that chick was a little on the strange side.
Everything I've seen says Aspen is a Unisex name. Not strictly "BOY" name. I don't know any guy/girl with that name here in the Midwest. I think most names with a girlie middle name could be pretty names.
