Possible pumping/breastfeeding trigger
I pumped 22 oz yesterday. Ridiculous. I always seem to pump more in the beginning of the week after being home with dd all weekend and then get about just what she takes at daycare the rest of the week. @Emerald27 is that normal? I'm engorged every Monday morning so far and some Tuesdays but Wed through Friday feel like I have a normal supply.
Big hugs to all who need them. Both I and LO are once again sick with the stuffy head and coughs.
I feel so bad since he can't take anything and I can completely understand that he feels like shit. No fever so he is at daycare and I'm at work. A big part of me just wants to go home and nap but I would feel like such a bag o' dicks leaving my sickish baby at daycare. Andplusalso I would just have to drive the 30 min round trip (without traffic) to go pick him up.
I wonder if I could just go went a hotel room down the street for the day....

And I seem to be developing some respiratory crud/fever again.
Your coffee gift was creepy to me for some reason. Maybe cause I really want coffee this morning but don't want it to wink at me.

@MrsSinner402, I'm a cat person too, and I hope everything's okay with Todd! Incidentally - if you need a longer name to call him when he's in trouble, I went to high school with a guy named Todd that people called "Toddly Whoplash" (TOD-lee WHOP-lash). I always found that amusing, and am HARDLY EVER able to work it in conversation - thanks for the opportunity! :-) And I do hope Whoplash feels better!
@slsl509, what are these tricks for sleeping longer? DD won't nap very well for my mom - I think it's because she (Mom) is kind of high-strung, and when Natalie is wiggly in her sleep, Mom assumes she's uncomfortable or something and starts rearranging her, which of course wakes her up.
@keelyd, DD was in the 6th percentile at her last appt - she was in 60-something at birth. I'm a little worried, but my pedi is not - she thinks DD's just settling into her curve now, and that she could have been "artificially" big at birth due to my GDM (even though it was very well-controlled).

@TicketTuesday He doesn't have green snot (just clear if you can get it out). He is more congested and has a wee cough every once in awhile. If there is not fever and it appears to be non-gross he can stay.
But if he has fever, green snot, and/or three diarrhea diapers in a day he has to be out for the remainder of the day and the next day (or until 24 hours after symptoms has disappeared)
As Jennifer18131 said we are having crazy weather swings so most people around here are fighting to keep up.
Blood work and xrays all came back normal. Doctor suggested he may have IBD, which is apparently common in cats. We're trying an antibiotic and steroids. He said if he's better while on them and then goes back to puking once we've stopped, then he may need to be on steroids for good. The inflamed intestines can cause cats to throw up and the only way to diagnose it is with a biopsy which would cost $700-$800. So we're going to try this and see if it works. I'm hoping it does. Even if I have to pay for steroids every month, at least Todd will feel better and I won't have to clean up puke all the time. :-<

So I forgot breast pads AGAIN today. This is becoming a horrible habit. I felt my boobs letdown and grabbed the first thing that made sense... I currently have two facial sponges in my bra to absorb the leakage. What happens when they start expanding?!
Wring them out?
Why do those epic naps only happen when I can't take advantage?!?!?
I unfortunately couldn't bf or pump and ff all three of my kids and I still understand. Me thinks she's just a notch.
I want to ttc again soon too. I had hoped I might be lucky enough to be the first of the o14 notches but damn @Syllessa beat me to it. We plan on moving in may or June so we won't start ttc until after that. I don't want to switch Dr's during the pregnancy. It makes me nervous because it took over a year last time, so hopefully it will happen sooner this time. Fx.
I told my mom Sunday about trying for no. 2 once lo turns one and she looked at me like I grew a third eyeball.
She had me, then a 6 year gap, and then a 23 month gap. BUT she was done at 28...
I know it will be super crazy hard but it is not going to get any easier as I am "so old" by reproductive standards.
June 16 is the goal. Yikes.
