This is a weekly thread for runners who were due June 2014, that is posted on Mondays. All who run--or who want to start running--are welcome, regardless of mileage, pace, ability, size, shape, or terrestrial status. We had this thread during pregnancy, now it's time to lose that baby weight.
How were your runs and workouts this week?
What are your plans for health/fitness this week?
GTKY: What's your fitness "splurge" item? A fancy GPS? Lululemon threads? Tell me!

How were your runs and workouts this week?
Good besides missing my long run of 9 miles this week because I'm sick with a cold.
What are your plans for health/fitness this week?
Taking it day by day this week since I need to get healthy first, but I do plan on getting on the spin bike a little later for 30 minutes or so.

I have missed a couple weeks because of our trip so they have not been great, but back at it today!
Plans for the week:
Would like three lifting sessions and two runs. I have finished the insanity program so would like to keep up with the results.
Splurges:
I am buying a FitBit watch. So excited, have heard good things! Hope you all have been doing well over the past couple of weeks!
How were your runs and workouts this week?
Meh - not great. I still have not gone for any longer runs. This week was cold and icy and I didn;t feel comfortable taking the stroller out so I only went out for a couple of short runs after work on the nights DH was home.
What are your plans for health/fitness this week?
It is supposed to be nicer this week so hopefully more stroller runs?

Mmmm Lululemon. We recently got a lulu outlet near us - so dangerous. I also always feel like I splurge on my running shoes - why do the good ones have to be so $$$??
This week, same as usual 4-5 days in the gym and 2 runs. Need to continue to work on cleaning up my diet too.
My splurge are Nike pro combat shorts. It's absurd to spend $60 on shorts but they truly are the best and I won't race in anything else during the warmer months.
This week I'm planning a couple runs, 1 lifting session. Next Saturday we have to run 8 miles. The 15k is they first weekend in February, I'm getting excited!
Splurge: shoes. I have a heart rate monitor that I bought when I was pregnant but I always forget about it now!!
pretty good! i got in several short runs and a track workout. i also lifted a few times.
What are your plans for health/fitness this week?
i am going on my longest run PP: 6 miles. im kinda scared but excited at the same time! (runners know that feeling well haha)
