So this might be a UO or even an FFFC... but am I the only one planning on just sticking around on TB? I know a lot of shit went down, but we aren't paying to be here or anything so... I guess I just don't really see the point.
I feel this way...then I also feel like I'm sick of all the stupid rules. I just want to say fuck a lot. And what they are doing is CRAZY.
I posted this in the other place, but adding it here for those who haven't migrated yet: Fuck me sideways. Remember how I confessed that the one time I had PP sex, it was a surprise...so unprotected? And how many of you promised to cross all your crossables? Well, you SUCK at crossing, or maybe y'all didn't cross them hard enough. (love you anyway)
I peed on a fucking stick this morning. Then I threw the biggest tantrum. I don't want to do this again! I don't need this shit right now.
And yeah, I know: Should have been responsible, you're an adult, birth control, protection, blah blah blah. Not helpful at this point
I'm sorry, but damn fertile myrtle! I'm trying to look for the positive in this. Another sweet baby! Yeah??!
I feel like I need to take a pregnancy test now. I had sex the day after my IUD was placed. This concerns me.
I have a friend who got an IUD and it I guess kind of shifted. Anyway, she got pregnant. I laughed because she HATED kids! Now she loves her son obviously.
Eta: not trying to make you freak out. Just a funny story about Iud failure. I think once they are in properly they work.
I need workout recommendations -- I was planning to attempt a run this morning but as it is raining and the wind is blowing at >25 mph (gross), I will be keeping my workout indoors. Bonus points for recs on Amazon Prime.
I looked up stuff on pinterest to give me ideas. It's been so long since I did any core workouts that I forgot how.

I did too (actually the day of since it was our anniversary) but my OB told me that the effectiveness was immediate.
My OB told me it was immediate if you start during your menstrual cycle. But mine hadn't returned, so I just had it put in. I'm sure it's fine but I bought a test just in case.
Mine still hasn't returned. He never said anything about that to me.
We are on our way to pick out doors for our basement, which we are in the process of finishing. I can't wait until it is done! We have been doing it ourselves, so we have been working on it very slowly over the past year. We are getting closer to having it finished, I figure sometime later this year. It will be really nice for when DD is a bit older. We are finishing it into two rooms, a "man cave" and a playroom.
I don't think H realizes how difficult it is to grocery shop on my own with DS ... and by grocery shop I mean carry all the groceries + DS up 2.5 flights of stairs to our door.

I usually being DD in first. If she is snoozing in the car seat, I just set it on the floor and bring in everything else. If she is awake, I usually sit her on her activity mat and bring in everything else. Not that it's always easy, but juggling baby and groceries is really hard!
Also, for big trips I use peapod and they bring my groceries inside for me!

Thirty-one has a bag called a large utility tote that I love for grocery shopping and used to use it to get groceries upstairs. You can fit quite a bit in it and it's easy to carry even with a baby. I once fit 6 gallons of water in it and carried it upstairs easily.
@Syllessa that's rough sorry. Hopefully you and FI can work it out.
@keelyd that would be very difficult. Is it possible to shop when DH is off work. I know the hours thing but maybe on his day off? I shop on the day DH is off and he watches LO while I shop then he helps bring in the groceries when I get home.

The Thirty-one utility tote is amazing. I use it all the time. Going to the beach/lake, bringing food to a party, carrying gifts to and from Christmas parties, etc.
I have at least 3, maybe 4 of them. I take one to the grocery store and have them put my groceries directly in it. Then I don't have a ton of little bags and I like that the top stays up so stuff doesn't roll out.
It is also great for kid birthday parties. I put all the goody bags and random stuff I need to take with to the party and then I put all the presents in it to come home.
The organizing utility tote is nice for a toddler diaper bag when you don't need a full diaper bag anymore but still need some stuff. The pockets can hold sappy cups too which is really nice.
I love grocery shopping with S because everything fits in the uppababy basket. We also order from freshdirect quite often and I love it. I haven't tried peapod, but that's because I hate stop & shop produce.
I bring Shane in the house last unless he's crying. Then I leave the groceries in the car until he's settled. Since it's freezing here I don't mind leaving meats and dairy in the car, and I rarely buy anything frozen
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
Guise I've been lurking but between dd being sick and me not being able to fully kick my own illness it's so hard to keep up. Hugs to all who need them. Hopefully things will start to improve here health wise
Tomorrow is my first day of work. I have opted to drown my emotions and stress with merlot and snuggles! DH is a trooper to put up with my emotional roller coasters. At least I will rip the bandaid off tomorrow!

Just now starting to get through the randoms for today, but
@Syllessa congratulations! I know this is the scariest of timing imaginable and complicates everything, but I wish you the happiest and healthiest of pregnancies despite everything. Take good care of yourself. We're here to support you!
