BCP side effects?

Hi ladies,
I know that bcp are just the beginning of this process but I'm surprised at how crappy I feel! I keep telling myself that maybe it's not the bcp, but that I've been fighting something off.
Last Saturday I started taking them and felt nauseous and downright hateful for a few days. After taking them for only 3 days, I switched to taking them at night, hoping it would help me feel better.
I do feel much better, but now spot throughout the day and have headaches.
It's been so long since I've been on any type of bc. I'm guessing this is normal?

@Fightersince83‌ , exactly! I never had side effects from follistim, clomid, or letrozole.
I absolutely hate progesterone though ( and now apparently bcp)

Back in the day, BCP used to make me nauseous so I switched to the patch form. Now that I am in an IVF cycle, I was put on the pill form again. I hated them! I was nauseous for about 4 nights straight and I did spot while on them. It finally went away and I'm happy to be done with that part
