It's been a while since we have done this (I think). Anyway, with all the new "faces" here, I thought we could do this. 

1. Where do you live? (you do not have to specific unless you want to) 

2. Where are you from originally?

3. What about where you live is special? (This can be specific to your town or city or just the region in which you live)

4. Are you urban, suburban, or straight out in the country? 

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live?

1. Where do you live? (you do not have to specific unless you want to) I live in Alabama

2. Where are you from originally? Alabama, lol. Not much diversity in my living areas. 

3. What about where you live is special? (This can be specific to your town or city or just the region in which you live) Everyone is honey, sweetheart, or darlin'. We have the best hospitality in the world (yes, I am biased) and we bless a lot of hearts (not a compliment). 

4. Are you urban, suburban, or straight out in the country? I live in a small town. We only have a Wal-mart, which we are luck to have. I guess that would make me mostly suburban. 

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live? I love living in Alabama. I would move to northern AL and live out in the country somewhere. Get some land and build a horse stable to teach from.

2. Where are you from originally? I was born in Belarus

3. What about where you live is special? I love the convenience of everything. This is truly the city that never sleeps. You can find ANYTHING at all times of the day and night.

4. Are you urban, suburban, or straight out in the country? Urban gal

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live? I would ideally like to move to CT, NJ, MA, or PA and have a more suburban life without being too far from the city. I always dreamed of a large backyard :x

@agpjt413 Let's do it!! I actually grew up straight country and my nearest neighbor to either side was a 1/4 mile away. It was amazing!!

2. Where are you from originally? Florida

3. What about where you live is special? Weather on the nines. Love to know the weather every 10 minutes. It is very important for when it rains. I know if it is going to rain across the street, so I can go walk my dogs.

4. Are you urban, suburban, or straight out in the country? Urban, I think.

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live? I like where we live now.

2. Where are you from originally? California 

3. What about where you live is special? (This can be specific to your town or city or just the region in which you live)The Pacific Northwest is beautiful. The air is clean, we have ocean and forest and nice cities.

4. Are you urban, suburban, or straight out in the country? I am urban

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live? A big city next to the ocean. I loved Vancouver BC. So something like that. I wouldn't turn down London either.

2. Where are you from originally? Louisiana, just several hours northwest of where I currently live

3. What about where you live is special? (This can be specific to your town or city or just the region in which you live) The culture, food and football. There is nothing like Southern hospitality....and Mardi Gras!

4. Are you urban, suburban, or straight out in the country? Suburban

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live? I'm originally from a very small town, and I would love to end up in the country somewhere...with lots of land and horses. MH is a city boy, so this may never happen. I also miss living near mountains, so maybe somewhere on the Pacific Coast.

2. Where are you from originally? very Southwest Oklahoma

3. What about where you live is special? (This can be specific to your town or city or just the region in which you live) ummm??? I can't think of anything offhand; if I do, I'll edit to include it.

4. Are you urban, suburban, or straight out in the country? Straight up country. We live on a small cattle ranch....160+ acres. The town in our address is over 7 miles away; it's small, but it does have a Walmart (not a supercenter)

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live? Further west...still in Oklahoma. I don't care so much for the eastern half of the state...too many trees. H & I discuss it frequently, maybe someday.

The area has grown so much so it's pretty convenient. It's also about 50ish miles from Disney and people go ape shit over that.

Suburban

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live? 

I think I would LOVE to live in Florida for half the year and Colorado the other half.

2. Where are you from originally? Ontario, Canada

3. What about where you live is special? (This can be specific to your town or city or just the region in which you live) New Brunswick is the most bilingual province in Canada. Also, it's part of "Acadie", where the Acadian people live. The Acadian's are the only group of people who have a flag but don't have land of their own.

4. Are you urban, suburban, or straight out in the country? Basically the entire city is suburban lol. I'm currently living in what's called the "suburb", but just have to drive across the bridge to get to the city proper.

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live? Anywhere? Somewhere in Europe. Realistically? Probably Ontario.

I love Southern Louisiana! My cousins grew up in Lafayette, so we spent a bit of time there. Won't lie. Mostly I love the food.

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live? Closer to a major city.  There's not much to do here.

(This can be specific to your town or city or just the region in which you live) I love that my city is a mix of all the good things.  We are close to a beach as well as a nice downtown area with plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars.  You will never be bored here.  My city attracts plenty of tourists as well which makes it even better that we are so desirable!

4. Are you urban, suburban, or straight out in the country? I would say a mix between urban/suburban. There is definitely a city but most people live in the surrounding areas whether it be the beach, islands, or suburbs.

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live? I would like to live a little further north where I could experience all 4 seasons.  Maybe North Carolina/Virginia area.  I don't really get a winter here in the south.  However, I could never see myself actually leaving my hometown. The only time I have is when I went to college for 4 years and even that was only approximately an hour away.

3. What about where you live is special? (This can be specific to your town or city or just the region in which you live) I sing with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra - it's the #1 US Orchestra. Pretty cool!

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live? Somewhere warm with sand.

2. Where are you from originally?  New Jersey, the shore to be exact, and no it is not like the tv show!

(This can be specific to your town or city or just the region in which you live) I am still trying to adapt, but we are lucky to live in a coastal town so it reminds me of home.  I love all things seafood and can eat oysters and crab like it is my job so getting it all local is great.

4. Are you urban, suburban, or straight out in the country? 

I am more urban, and most definitely not country except for a visit or work (I spend a lot of time in rural Africa for work).

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live? Hands-down London.  I spent a year there and have been trying to get back ever since.

@heartbot - Too funny! I am so used to it now I barely notice, but I feel like because I can drive in Chicago, I can drive pretty much everywhere because people here are crazy!

I would love to live in West Virginia in the pan handle--close enough to civilization but far enough to see the sun rise and set, live rurally and closer to nature. Would miss my friends and job though! Or in India...so love it there.

3. What about where you live is special? Lots of fun free stuff to do - zoo, museums, free concerts, festivals, etc.

5. Finally, where would be your ideal place to live? The South. If my family didn't live here, I'd probably move back to Alabama. My brother lives in Texas, so I could see us ending up there. I can't handle real winter! (All of my Canadian ladies, please feel free to laugh at me for calling a Missouri winter a "real winter")

@megrae12 I lived in a suburb of Huntsville. If my family weren't here in St. Louis, I'd move back in a heartbeat. For about 3 months a year I fantasize about going back anyway (generally December-February...).
