My assessment in order of pictures: needs haircut, not cute, kind of creepy looking, duck face, meh.

I don't want to have/watch sex with any of them. They seem perfectly nice young men, and it's a shame it sounds like some (all?) are kept closeted for $$$ reasons but sexy, no.

I'm really over the "OMG they're babies/look 12/are children" thing with 1D.

It's not just here (people say this all the time) and this isn't the first time people here have said this.

I mean, no. They don't. Do you see shirtless Harry? No baby or preteen has a body like that.

Do they look young? Yes. But stop making it out like they're children. They're all adults. Some have more youthful faces, but none look like preteens.

While it isn't there here yet, it always turns into liking them is creepy. Grown ass women liking grown ass men in a band isn't creepy just because the men are younger.

If anyone is friends with my wife on fb, you'll see how young she looks for her age. At the airport once, a TSA agent referred to her as my daughter. Gross and do I really look that old to have a kid her age??? :-L

Clear UO: I think some people take this 1D stuff too far. Like it's fine if you think they're hot but I don't get adults going on and on about them all the time.

I think Iam Somerhalder is some mega tasty eye candy, sexy as hell but I can't tell you the last time I thought about that or talked to anyone about it. Would I participate in a one or two day thread devoted to him sure but continuously, no.

Haha, I'm guilty of calling them babies here  You are right, they don't look like babies, but they look too young for me.

I have literally never heard my mom swear in my entire life. My dad has the worst mouth ever and I take after him (not to his extent.) I am still terrified to even say "hell" in front of her. She absolutely loathes it. 

It's interesting too because she's usually so laid-back about everything and nobody would guess it bothers her. She doesn't complain about it to anybody but was very adamant in getting her point across to me.

I don't care for cussing either but will let something fly on occasion. Truthfully, a lot of the cussing that goes on around here is a little much for me, though I know it could be far worse. I just don't find much of it necessary but I'm pretty used to it now.

Hmm, maybe not as much as there once was . Maybe I got used to it then didn't notice when it went away?? Or maybe it's still there, somewhere. I definitely used to notice it in randoms.

ETA I also didn't say there's an abundance, because I don't care for it, I probably notice the small amount more than you.

I can love Harry Potter and discuss it in depth and be mature. Those things aren't mutually exclusive.


And no one HAS to like 1D, but I've heard multiple people on the bump companies liking them to pedophilia and being creepy, and it irks me. Don't like them, fine... But don't call liking them creepy. ;-)
