DS#1 is 4. He is starting to learn to lie and lies about every.thing! He doesn't want to eat, sleep, or cooperate with anyone.
DS#2 is, well, 2. We've been in the terrible 2s for about a month. I cannot take the throwing, hitting, and pushing anymore, and we still have at least a year.
DS#3 is currently being a magical unicorn. Great sleeping (for a 3 month old, let's be honest), great eating, and is generally just a happy guy DH is amazingly helpful and involved and the only complaint I have about him is the snoring, good Lord the snoring!
I couldn't vote for dh and older kids so I just chose older kids. I had to get after dh and dd yesterday because they were arguing about something stupid in the car and were making lo upset and if he cries too much he doesn't get enough oxygen because of his rsv. Dd stopped but dh had to finish making his point. I finally told him to zip it.
It's a toss up between DH and the cat he threw at my face last night.
I would go with the cat, but DH is struggling with the fact that he can't just make decisions about what he's going to do without considering how it affects me and the baby. For example, if I worked 10 hours, then picked up the baby and made dinner... No you cannot work out the second you get home. Mama needs a break and you can wait until we are in bed.
My dh still struggles with this and we have three kids. You would think he would have figured it out by now. He even decided to start working from home without considering that I am at home with the kids and it's impossible to keep them all quiet enough for him to work and that's extremely boring for the kids to be that quiet.
My pug and shih tzu are having a hard time dealing with not being the only babies anymore. The pug decides to pee in the house ( in front of me while I'm nursing) and the shih tzu cries like a baby for attention, even if he is sitting right next to you.
Me. I'm an asshole. I yelled at DH Friday night. For nothing. But I said I was sorry later.
But he was just laying on the couch while I changed the baby who proceeded to pee everywhere. And I had already had a shitty two days and was having a pity party.
DH has slept in both days this weekend, and then when he gets up 2 hours after DS and I, proceeds to do absolutely nothing. Not even making coffee or changing the baby. I wouldn't probably be so furious about it if he had, even once during his two-week winter break, said, "why don't you sleep in? I'll take the baby."
My dog, she's getting old and pees at night so we have been crating her in the living room to sleep. Well she will whine and scratch and wake the baby. Then sometimes her tummy acts up especially is she digs in the trash and she will throw up everywhere. She doesn't like being outside plus it's too cold so I keep her in. She chewed on the Christmas lights yesterday, they were unplugged, but the set was trash. The list goes on forever. We do frequent emergency baths cause of incontinence and laundry to wash her bedding and blankets. But in the end we love her and just deal, I make DH clean up after her mostly.
My dogs for sure. They bark constantly, piss in my house, and run around crazy. You'd think as a veterinarian I'd have some control over my dogs but they just got worse after DS was born and they don't have all my attention anymore.
We all have our moments, but my almost 20m old is the worst, for sure. My favorite is when she says "no brat shit" while doing brat shit. Totally my fault because I know she repeats EVERYTHING lately and I still slip and curse at times.
