Private group BMB?

So I was poking around on the site because I'm bored and I found that October 14 apparently has a private group for their regulars separate from the birth month board. :-?

Anyone else find that bizarre?

I don't know if I find it too odd. I can understand the need to get away from the newbies or randoms. That said, I wouldn't want to be in one or part of one because it would get cliquey and exclusive, which I don't like. It just furthers my thoughts on how the regs are very cliquey over there. I swear, if this baby is born in October, there is NO way in hell Im leaving this BMB.

TB private group. I'd get a Facebook group - it's a different website, a different format - this is just another group on this site but it's not public I guess?

It just struck me as weird because the description is just "a place for the regulars to talk privately". There's no other qualification or theme to the group, say like everyone having twins or being AMA or something like that.

I'm not sure if it's still this way or if it has changed, but when the groups first started, ALL MODS could view any group they wanted, even if they weren't invited to the group.

How in sweet hell do you create your own private group on TB? I can't even get the app to work half the time.

Those girls are serious about their "regulars". Like whoa. I wonder if they have a secret handshake too?

Cliquey birth month group? That's a bit new to me. Though I "get" a FB group. I have a few due date clubs that transitioned to FB groups.

Ugh, how obnoxious. When I was on TTGP when TTC DS, there was an off-board group for the super kool kids. They had all these inside jokes that they made references to on the main board, which made everyone feel left out.

Do people actually change boards based on when the baby is born? I'm probably going in December, but y'all are stuck with me for liiiiife.

Shut your face @Maelara‌ we are NOT having our babies in December, we are having them together at the exact same time, on the exact same day, November 1st at 12pm so, we don't have to be anywhere near those losers that are having babies at the END of November.

Re the milkshakes. They literally are a "secret milkshake," at least at our Culver's here. They aren't on the menu yet, but if you ask they will make them! I think I'm going to try the pumpkin cheesecake concrete mixer next.

My craving did win! I got a mint Oreo milkshake from DQ. Tali had more than a few sips... Hahah! She had some and just loooved it. She demanded some each time I had a drink. What a monkey ^_^
