Irrational FTM fears

Re: Irrational FTM fears

  • @fisherd7 I am with you! I'm only about 5 weeks along... but I've felt mostly fine. Except last night, I had super bad nausea and other not fun stuff... but today I'm fine. From what I can gather, it is normal for symptoms to come and go. I keep telling myself that everything is fine - and  I can't freak out until I see blood. Hang in there (I'm hangin' too).

  • At week 6 I'm still trying to figure out which of my fears are irrational and which are rational. I have already had spotting and last night my worst nightmare came true with red blood being there when I went pee. Not a lot but still scary! But I keep being told it doesn't mean for sure anything is wrong. Cramping stresses me out too. I'm already worried about everything and its not even here yet! I'm gonna be a wreck when the kid misses curfew lol

  • @fisherd7‌ I'm the same way! Symptoms come and go. When they are here I'm like is something wrong and when they leave I'm like is something wrong?! Lol

I don't feel crazy anymore! Lol I check for blood every time and when the cramping died down I was paranoid for a bit and I had a trip planned to house sit for my parents and I was terrified of flying thinking something would happen or I'd start getting MS the day I flew out I'm keeping my fingers crossed it holds off until I get home! My first app isn't until 2/27 hopefully I won't be so paranoid after that.

  • Yep all of those...fear of pooping I will admit! More like the *ahem* straining is going to do something bad! Plus, I have bronchitis and the rattling chest coughs make my abs hurt and make me think I'm hurting baby. Also, taking my doctor prescribed antibiotics is terrifying me and sleeping on my stomach worried me a little bit. Also, just a general fear of food prep (I live in Morocco!!) At 7 weeks, I still have some slight cramping which sends me sprinting to the bathroom to check for blood. I also worry when I wake up about seeing blood so I run to the toilet to check!

I hope these irrational fears start easing up soon!!
