Here is my first world problem: I am about to do a FET transfer next week, and my husband and I have been invited to Mexico for a week next month. If this FET doesn't work, we'd likely want to go immediately into another fresh IVF cycle, but my RE mentioned doing a shorter protocol than our first IVF cycle, meaning no BCP first, and it would mean we'd likely be monitoring during the week we're invited to Mexico. Has anyone ever used any trip insurance around IVF cycles? Do you know if infertility treatments are an exclusion from coverage? If not, does anyone have any companies they'd recommend?
Thanks @NariaDreaming. I assume you're a travel agent? Do you know how much it generally costs? If you get a commission I'd be happy to book through you!
I think it would be worth it. I know for our honeymoon (which cost around $11K) the trip insurance was around $400. We purchased through our travel agent though, so that's what I would recommend. Good luck and I hope the FET works!
