I'm in the medical field and I'm NOT getting a home Doppler due to possible future freak outs. It took my doctor a few minutes to find my 10 Weeker on the office Doppler a couple days ago and she does it every single day. I highly doubt you actually found your baby's heart rate at 7 weeks.
TTC since Sept. 2013
09/14: New anterior 3cm Fibroid on U/S, no change in size 11/14
We have a Doppler and have found the baby at 9 weeks 1 day, then had a day we couldn't find it, then found it again last night at 9 weeks 3 days. Been around 170 with the Doppler.
163 bpm at 8 week appt. I have an at home Doppler as well and it states on there not to use until you are 12+ weeks since baby is too far down I your hips to get a reading. I tried at 9 weeks and it worked for me at home.
When I went in today, she wouldn't even try the doppler on me because she didn't expect to be able to hear it. I did get to see it on the ultrasound today, though.
I have no idea what the bpm of the baby was but I was so excited to hear it at my appointment. It is really real I have not had any MS and I was scared it was all made up. As the midwife searched for the heart beat she kept asking me have u been nauseous at all n I haven't so I thought she wouldn't find it but she did. Kind of still feel it might not be real 9 weeks I get more excited as the 12week is in sight.
You could have picked up your own or the doppler didn't catch it all. I used mine last night and could hear it, but to watch the doppler, I could tell it wasn't counting each beat and I know the numbers that it was given was incorrect.
At 6 weeks 4 days 122 At 8 weeks 1 day 174 At 10 weeks 3 days 180 All were during ultrasound since my doc couldnt get the heartbeat on the doppler at my 10 week visit Wednesday.
114 at 7w0d since LMP. The doc said it seemed a little low and I was measuring a little small, but since we don't know when I ovulated it might be fine just a little earlier. I am going back in 1 week. I feel like it's fine though.
TTC#1 since Aug 2013, I'm 37, DH 41.

I'm very sensitive to diet (gluten, avoid processed foods) and environment. Have a history of inflammation and tendinitis before going off gluten in 2009.
July 2014 - RE Visit #1: Eggs look good, Endometrioma on R ovary, HSG showed blocked R tube close to ovary. DH SA normal
DX: Endometriosis probably the IF cause and gunking up tubes. Since egg reserve is high, RE says I can wait a couple months and then get laproscopic surgery to remove endo & clear tube. If that doesn't help then move to IVF.
Dec 2014 - Saw new RE - does not recommend surgery on tube as it isn't likely to help. Doubts I have endometriosis. My endometrioma shrunk to neglible size (yay!)
On 1/7/15 I was 7w3d and baby's heartbeat was 154. It was really great to see it because I have been having issues with bleeding on and off since week 5
11w3d just got checked and it was 170! But baby kept moving around so we would hear it and then it would go away, then we'd hear it again. Finally, baby settled right over one of my own arteries, so that was kind of neat hearing baby's HB on top of mine ☺️
We saw it at my ultrasound today! 7w3d 151bpm I am incredibly relieved!
Me: 30 DH: 32
TFAS since May 2013
8/14 - Bloodwork showed heterozygous MTHFR gene mutation and elevated AMH (but no cysts)
9/14 - HSG, Hysteroscopy and laparoscopy showed tubes clear, but found and removed Endometriosis, scar tissue and 2 small benign masses on my tubes.
11/14 - Daily ultrasounds confirmed that my follicles are not releasing the egg and every other day blood draws showed very low progesterone... DH's SA was near perfect
12/14 - moving onto meds!!! Hold up!!! Surprise BFP after only taking the progesterone! Now what do I do with all of the other meds we already paid for?! Due at the end of August 2015 Beta#1- 4434 @ 22DPO Beta#2 - 7335 @ 25DPO Beta #3 - 14429 @ 28DPO
7 weeks is really early to find the HB on an at home doppler. I didn't find ours until 10 weeks. it registered in the 160's. But just a few days before it was clocking in at 174 at the ultrasound. I'm not putting faith in my $80 at home doppler. I have more faith in the ultrasound's and at the OB's office. I tried at 9 weeks too and couldn't even find it at home. I wouldn't worry, just wait until your more like 10 weeks.
