Roasted garlic & mushroom chicken with fresh cream (baked) & roasted carrots! We are also having Lotus Bao Buns (they are still in the steamer). And peas...still waiting on them.
Some old lady in Chinatown took pity on me & showed me how to make the bao. I explained that I was trying to make some for MIL & she said she knows because hers is a dragon too. Lol!
My mom got me some attachments for my kitchenaid & food processor. This is my fourth or fifth time.
You guys-- MIL seemed pleased (silent!) with them at New Years. My FIL complimented me! \:D/

@biggunsbo Because I am not a Creepy Gym Dude, I did what you should do if you see a woman at the gym with boobs: looked at her face, smiled, and kept walking. Does every gym have a Creepy Gym Dude?
No clue. Haven't been to a gym in years. Which is probably why I completely threw my back out shoveling 1 inch of fluffy snow.

Just thinking that I really love the lullaby cds we play. Probably someday when I am an empty nester I will put this music in my car stereo and drive around town weeping.
@theuntaggablek DH works late on Tuesdays so I was on my own for bedtime tonight. Jack didn't nap at all today and Brynne's nap was cut short. You would think that would make bedtime easier, right, because they're both so tired? HAHAHAHAHA.
HOLD ME.
I need some wine but I'm never moving from this bed again.
Nooooo!!!! Just got an email that my hair appointment next week is cancelled due to the stylist no longer working at that salon!!! I was finally happy! And she did an amazing job on G's hair!

Nooooo!!! That's the worst. I miss my MSN stylist. Tiff. She had a little girl names Mabel. If any of you know her, send her my love.
Sorry about the rough bedtime. When is it going to get better?
it WAS better. And now it sucks again. Maybe settling in jitters? New dc room? Something else?.
Ours were amazing before Thanksgiving. Then she got HFM and bedtimes were rough again. Then they sort of started to get better. Now they involve mommy throat punches, crocodile death rolls, attempted head butts, and sometimes mommy tears. I'm guessing it's a phase\stage? Does every week become a wonder week after the app ends?

I'm thinking of waiting a week and then calling all the salons in the area to see if they have a new stylist with her name. Stalkerish? People have done it with past groomers I've worked with....
@casey78 we had a runaway poop once that needed to be chased down. And the grossest parenting moment in my meager 5 years as a mom was when Jack had major diarrhea at 18 months and reached down while I was changing him and then freaked because he had "icky" on his hand so FLUNG HIS HAND EVERYWHERE AND POOP WENT EVERYWHERE.
So. Gross.
So sad for all the mommies experiencing a loss. I can't imagine how difficult. My perspective on this has changed so much since before having children.
This is our last night in Hawaii.
I truly believe life experiences are so much more valuable than things. Addie has learned so much since we've been here. She's saying so many new words, drinking from an open cup or straw now, has had an increase in receptive language and following directions, and can now go up/down stairs independently on her feet holding the hand rail.
H & I have discussed how different this trip has been from when we were childless. Neither of us would give her up to go back to that though. This is our new life, and it's the best!
Love tits for support, of course @maryannespier What's happening with G these nights? Has the floor mattress helped much? Hope you get some good sleep soon.

I meant myself personally. The 30s are a wonder decade.
Yay I finally caught up on this thread! Only it's now Wednesday my quest to keep up with the bump is failing!
yup. Didn't read the last two pages until I got to work this morning. So.Much.Funny (for me. Rogue turd! *chortle*). And can I send all the mamas wine retroactively for last night? I had some cider myself.
@COmama1314, @gutsymama is among us. Her phone hates her, and her toddler has commandeered laptop for watching Cars.
@COmama1314 you don't see me, but I see yooooooouuuuuuuuu
I'm also trying to really really really focus this week.

We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.

We were at the soft play room on Saturday and we all had to evacuate because someone found some rogue poop. I was like HOW??
@Byjove03 and @lizabethann06 - Nooooo! Flinging diarrhea?! A rogue poop at a play place??! No no no no no no.

Instead daycare was canceled and it was a absurdly unproductive day.
Just want to send >:D< to everyone.
