@TKT17, have you tried putting your LO down awake? She might surprise you. I started nursing DS with the lights on and putting him down awake. The first couple nights he fussed about 10 minutes but no crying. Now he goes down no problem and only wakes in the night to feed. Before he was waking all night long.
This. With DS I never did this and with DD I did. She surprised me. Two nights ago was the first time she cried for more than 5 minutes (she went about 15-20 with one check and then passed out). I usually will not go back in until we hit the 10 minute mark when she's just fussing. However, when I go in and try to calm her down, it seems to just reset her and she starts all over.
Having said that, I wouldn't let her cry/scream for 2 hours. If her crying gets at all panicked or screamy, I go to her right away.
