NBR: Shark Steam and Spray Mop

I'm this is what I'm thinking about going out tomorrow to pick up as a last minute gift to DH and myself.  Our living room is hw and our kitchen/dining room is wide-plank (18" wide) pine flooring, but I'm not sure if it's sealed.

General thoughts on Steam Mops?
Anyone actually own this one?

Now that babyG's actually nearly fully mobile, I want to be able to disinfect clean the floors somewhat regularly, and I know that I'm less likely to do it if I have to haul out a mop & bucket every time...

Re: NBR: Shark Steam and Spray Mop

  • A lot of people love them, but we returned our Shark. It just pushed the dirt to the edge of the floor, and it didn't clean all that well.
  • @ramfan08 @katybriggs @flightview How much water/moisture does it leave on the floor?

  • Thanks @KatyBriggs!  I wasn't sure it would work for us if it put a ton of moisture/water down, since I think our dining/kitchen is unsealed wood - but it doesn't sound like it leaves more than a well rung mop or wet swiffer so maybe it'll be fine.... :-)
