So I think DD has hit her 6 month growth spurt the last two days. Luckily I was home to nurse for the weekend but now I'm at work. She woke up and nursed twice last night which isn't usual for her so my supply is super low today and for the first time I probably won't get enough for tomorrow's bottles. I'm ok because I have frozen so I can make up the difference.
Any advice from working moms to get through this? Should I pump tonight after she feeds for bed? Luckily I'm off W-F so I can nurse and we started some solids so that might help too.
Re: Growth spurt and pumping
as you said, you could consider adding in some solids soon. that gives you a bit more flexibility. my pumping supply dropped a bit when my DS was 7-8 months. i sent frozen to top off the 3rd bottle for a little while, but eventually i just dropped to 2 bottles at DC and sent solids as a replacement for the 3rd bottle.
