Orlando, Florida

DH and I are going to Orlando for a business trip in August and will be taking 2 extra days after the convention is over. We've done the touristy things like Disney and sea world so I'm looking for some more ideas on what to do. We love going to the beach but that would involve renting a car. I'm not opposed to that, but if there are fun things to do around Orlando, we would avoid that additional hassle.

I must add I dislike roller coasters immensely so that stuff is out. Oh, and if I'm not UK by then, well be doing a lot of sexy time cuz you wanted to know that little piece of information!

Lord help you because August is so effing hot here. Honestly I could never do a park in August. I've done it once and I've never been so miserable. The beach is cool but you are looking at driving a few hours each way and that sucks! What hotel are you staying at? There are so many cool hotels and pools that you could probably have a great time staying right where you are!

Lol and I think you have a typo. I think you mean KU not UK. I was thinking. Wait you are going to the Uk? What does that have to do with Orlando? LOL

We stayed at the Gaylord Palms something the last few times, it will probably be there again, or somewhere close to that. I'm so used to going places to do things, I wouldn't know what to do in a hotel other than swim. Maybe massages and pedi!

DS isn't coming for this trip so it's just DH and me. I haven't heard of discovery cove, I'll have to look it up! I never thought about Cirque du Soleil. Great ideas!
