@penguin173 yeah, I'm not sure why they didn't come up with that.  Especially since the phone didn't ping the tower near her house.

Also, even though they are saying the Nisha call could have conceivably been a butt dial, but why didn't they entertain the possibility that Jay could have just called that number if he had Adnan's phone if the number was saved in the phone?

@penguin173 The thing about the random other guy (that was also in one of those articles that I linked to in this thread) would make a lot of sense....if Jay didn't know where the car was and all of that.

@tlex I think your theory make a lot of sense.  I think there was definitely some shady drug stuff going on too.

I think this is conceivable too.

I know Adnan presents himself as this likable guy, but like they said, that's a lot of bad luck that just fell into place if he didn't do it.

So, they introduced that note where Adnan supposedly wrote, "I'm going to kill" on the top.  I know that's not a huge factor in the entire story, but no one seems to account for the fact that "I'm going to kill so and so" as being a pretty common expression.

I saw this post, started listening on Monday, and finished this morning. I like @TLex's theories - drugs, snapping, Jay helping. Just waiting for DH to finish now so I can talk about this with someone in person!

Serial has given me anxiety. I'm completely paranoid I'm going to framed for a crime. Of course, this is very unlikely but I've had at least 6 nightmare about it!

I think Adnan was involved but was likely drugged and truly doesn't remember. I can't imagine having zero recollection of such an important day unless you were drugged or lying.

I was slipped something in a drink once and according to my friends was acting crazy but have no memory. Thank goodness no one framed me!

@caer I thought the same thing about reddit vs podcast.  The podcast is too painful to listen to but he'll read all the reddit conspiracy theories?

I felt like the first article made me believe him a little more but this one was so defensive that it made me question him.

I cant believe I'm so behind on this! I downloaded it last week after seeing you ladies talk about it and am on epi 7.

Anyone have any recommendations that are similar to serial once im finished?

I can't really think of specific TAL episodes that I really liked.  I agree with @lalaprep, most of them are good.  Just a few are boring.
