:-bd Getting DD's teeth "fixed" has solved this momma's booby pain. Like instantly! Granted DD's teeth aren't perfect, but getting a little "filling" mix applied to the outside smoothed the rough edges and actually made the breaks look not so bad anymore. If one didn't know any better, you wouldn't think anything was ever wrong with her smile. So :-bd to Dr. M! He's awesome!
DD's cough has gotten much, much better too. She's done with her antibiotics as well so I'm hoping we're turning the page. But ... sounds like flu season has hit this state bad already (a teenager just passed away, if I heard the radio correctly) so I'm hoping we can totally bypass that this year again,
I'm all good, but I got this stupid popcorn kernel lodged in my esophagus. It's been there since Tuesday. Uggh. If I was bulimic/anorexic it's be NBD and I could probably get it out, but I got awesome gag reflexes. Oh well. I guess it'll eventually go away, right? [-O<
Lots of >:D< >:D< >:D< to all the sick LOs and mommas out there. Hope you all get over whatever you got soon.
Tylenol with codeine is amazing! I took it at 6:45 last night and was asleep by 7:15.
Addie STTN! But, she woke up with low grade fever, so we are both home today, and I don't feel comfortable taking my codeine when I'm home with her by myself. It's 8:30, and she's already napping. H said he would come home early around 3 to help.
OMG, I was up a ton last night. I finally got out of bed at 4:30 this morning and took 3 ibuprofen because my ear and teeth were on fire. I think I finally fell back to sleep around 5:30 when my SO promptly slammed the door to leave for work not long after, ugh.
I took more medicine this morning when I woke up and my ear and teeth are feeling better. Maybe it was just because I was laying on my right side and that seems to be the side that hurts the worst. Who knows?
Anyway, my sinuses are feeling a ton better today and I can actually breath. This is a nice change of pace from the last month. I'll take it!
No ear pain today but still very congested. I started my antibiotics yesterday so hopefully they work to clear this gunk up.
And please don't let me get a yeast infection. [-O<
I've been hoping for the same! The doctor said if I get one to give her a call and she'd get me a prescription. I don't want an itchy vageena.
L has been back to having night poops all week, and last night he had 2

@ramy3 probiotics! Safe to take while pregnant and will help with not getting an infection.
I know. I meant to pick some up yesterday when I was at the pharmacy and I forgot.
A helping or two of yogurt in the meantime?
Or you could feed it a Clark bar.

@ramy3@haddocky I always get one any time I take antibiotics. When they prescribe antibiotics, I ask them to go ahead and send in the script for Diflucan too.
We all have colds and sore throats and the gherkin hasn't really had an appetite since she went digging through @missconstrued 's diaper bag for graham crackers the other day. She has been drinking a lot, though.
I'm going on almost three weeks of this pesky sore throat. ARGH!

Heard back from the rheumatologist. Overall, levels and xrays look good. Joint spaces look good and little damage in hands/feet/knees, so that's positive.
That's all well and good, but did he give you any prognosis on your thumb? :-SS [-O<

Addie had a fever Sunday & Monday. No fever Tuesday, so she went back to daycare Wednesday. I tested neg for flu Tuesday, so I didn't think she had it either. Fever was back this morning.
I feel bad for sending her to DC yesterday.
The doc gave her an antibiotic & nebulizer because her lungs sounded bad.
Glad Brynne & Jack are finally getting better! Hopefully our house & yours will be healthy for the holidays. @lizbethann82
Re: Dec 11's medical updates are up early with a cough
I'm on day 11 of the crud. My throat still hurts and I'm still phlegmy. Enough already!!
Glad she likes the nasonex. I always hated that stuff. Ick.
Feel better sick babies and families.

So thankful for better health around here today!
