If your baby doesn't sleep through the night

This is a good article to read.  We don't co sleep but I have similar feelings about waking up to feed LO once a night.

Re: If your baby doesn't sleep through the night

  • Yup, we cosleep and I feel pretty much the same as she does. It works for us, and I love snuggling at night.

  • We started once she was able to roll well, and sit. If she wakes up in her crib which is where she starts she comes to nurse back to sleep in bed with me.

    She's a wild sleeper!
  • Didn't read article, try to later.  I do partial co-sleep, meaning when/if he wakes up I bring him to bed with me, sometimes I give him a bottle other times just snuggle.  I need the close time and he obviously likes it or wouldn't fall back asleep.  I am away all day and if I didn't get those precious few hours of snuggle I would be desperately sad.
  • We don't co-sleep, just because we aren't good candidates for it. (I move too much, we are both tall/big people, and we have a queen size bed)
But, I like what she said about "not getting sleep is what we signed up for" even though I'm utterly exhausted, and most days I feel like I'm walking through mud, I wouldn't trade those late night snuggles for the world!
