My husband is an operations manager for a gym. He is a born athlete so he loves it!
That's a great job to have, he stays fit and gets paid! I'm a fitness junkie myself and there's nothing better than getting continuous endorphins going throughout the day, I'm sure he's a happy guy! I have worked in fitness for 12 yrs and everyday felt like I was "playing on my favorite playground" while making money!
@Pintobean39 That sounds like a tough job…I can't imagine working for Hospice.
He actually loves it. He said those are the patients he can do the most for, by making them comfortable on their way out of this world.
Sounds like you have a very caring and compassionate hubby, I'm sure that will work well for you when you are having your baby:) Kudos to him for having the ability to care for people who leave him everyday.
Mine is a recycling specialist at at magazine manufacturer. He plays in paper all day. He comes home covered in paper dust and he even finds it in his wallet.
My husband is a firefighter. At first I didn't like it because he was on shift every third night, but I have gotten used to it and it makes him really happy.
My fiancé started working as a quality assurance engineer for tech companies two years ago and has leaped up promotion-wise. He now works for a company that makes casino gaming equipment and software (neither of us is too thrilled to be involved in the gambling industry, but hey, it's a good company) and may move to a position managing his team in about a month.
My DH is a neonatologist, he loves his job but it's very time consuming, but I really can't complain when I'm home for 30hrs at a time when there are military wives who have it so much harder, thank you all for you and your families sacrifices.
Hi. My name is Amy and I have no idea what my husband does for a living.
He works for a company that manufactures chemical processing equipment (I had to ask him). He started out as a draftsman, but for promoted to...??? Something. Even his boss can't tell me what his title is. All I known is he is super busy all day and his bosses hold him in high regard.
My husband is a plumber, as well! He does strictly large-scale renovations and new construction. It's a physically demanding job, but he really loves it.
DH is a film photographer (yes, that's still a thing), and he owns a business where he engraves death dates onto tombstones all over Ohio. When we first met, it kind of freaked me out- but it's good money so whatever!
Mister is a military musician. He recently totally killed an interview and audition for a position with one of the premier bands in D.C., so we're headed there next year. It's a different branch of service so he'll have to go through another round of basic training, but it's an automatic two rank advancement and then a PERMANENT DUTY STATION! Can you tell I'm proud and so excited about not having to move again??
DH is a realtor (one of the top in the state) and owns a property management company for luxury single family homes. He loves his job and is quite awesome at both. It took him awhile in life to find his passion and I couldn't be prouder of him (he has a degree in acting an singing which he persued for about 5 years after college).

The hubs works for Big Pharma and is a District Manager in their Diabetes business unit. He was promoted last winter and fortunately that has allowed for me to become a SAHM. Though I don't think the SAHM life is a permanent thing for me... Anyway, I am super proud of him and he is proving to be excellent in a position of leadership.
My H is in the army national guard and has done two tours in Iraq. When he is not at drill, he drives buses for NYC. Not a glorious job but it pays well and we have great benefits. It will probably give me the ability to go to part time work after baby is born.
We love taking the bus! But they are not stroller friendly. Makes it hard for us. But we love our bus drivers!
My DH is a head football coach and high school teacher. He was doing financial work on the east coast...transferred back to so cal, started coaching and met me (I was teaching at his alma mater and student teaching for his mom), set up by about 10 mutual people at my school once he moved back and after 4 years of marriage the rest is history
I am in the category I don't know what he does. He works for a wealth management firm, he is at the second highest management position for his branch as well as complex. He does have the degree and licenses to be an actual stock broker but he doesn't risk a set salary till the kids are out of the house.
My husband has been in the Navy Special Forces for just over ten years. He has done three deployments and will be heading out again next year. He trains constantly and enjoys his job. I'm so proud of what he has set his mind to and the goals that he has achieved. A shout out to the other military wives, because they need your support to keep going.
Full time student part time personal trainer and in army reserves and rotc. May16 he graduates ( same day as my due date) then we hope he will land a job in his degree field physical education teacher and army reserve officer.
He's some sort of inventory supply specialist for the federal government (DOD, in the logistics area). I don't really get what he does, even though I work there too! We usually carpool and go out to lunch together....our kid will be attending childcare on base, and I have visions of the whole family heading off to work together, LOL.

DH is AD Air Force. He is a structural journeyman - basically, it's construction-type work where he does a little bit of everything (pouring concrete, welding, laying block, etc).
My husband is active duty army. He's done 2overseas tours. He has been a driver Protective Service Detail for generals and high ranking officials. This is year 7 but he just resigned to do special forces. There go the days of having him home but hes so passionate about it and im proud of him!
DH is a lawyer with his own shop. Pretty interesting both being lawyers... our arguments get impassioned and our positions are always very well supported, haha!
What type of law?
My DH is a lawyer too. He loves his job. I do part time work from home editing journal articles for my cousins wife, who is a social work professor. And take care of our one year old.
@2ndTimeMommyA, I work in-house for a large international company now (the company sells extended warranties and insurance around the world and I focus primarily on our Latin American markets). I used to work at a very large international law firm focusing my practice on insurance and reinsurance (transactional, regulatory and litigation). My DH practices labor and employment law, mostly on the plaintiff side (occasionally defense). His practice is mostly wage and hour and overtime violations.
ETA: I didn't mean this to sound so much like a resume... oops!
My husband is a civil engineer specializing in building and maintaining dams. My mom's favorite joke is that he is a 'dam engineer.' I think he works for a really good company and I am pretty close with some of his coworkers' wives. They have the best Christmas party...I can't wait!

My husband is currently in the Air Force and does IT. He recently got chosen to work at the FBI headquarters to do all their IT networking! I am so proud of him because lots of people volunteered but they got turned away and he got it instead. So bye bye Texas hello Virginia, but I would follow him to the moon because I just love the guy that much!
So cool to see so many other military wives on here! Thank you to all branches of the military, nothing but respect from me.
