I can't believe it is 2:30 already.  I have accomplished hardly anything in the writing department.  I have been doing work for work which has derailed me but they were things that needed to get done after the long holiday.  I got 2 expense reports done and one almost done  I booked the trip to Vermont on the Cyber Monday deal and bought Vinny an anywhere chair with the coupon I had from Pottery Barn.  

Back to the grind.

Yep. He was from Bosnia I believe and just moved here this year. They say it had nothing to do with the current unrest in the area but I seriously doubt it.

Anyone have a great cough remedy for my 3 1/2 year old?? She's got asthma so we've been doing her nebulizer at night but this poor thing is coughing her lungs out at all hours of the day/night whenever she is resting. She's napping right now and all I hear is her coughing and almost gagging. I've been using Zarbees children's cough syrup before bed at night and it seems to help a bit. Honey?? Something else??

My stomach is growling but I'm trying to resist the urge to snack on junk. I need to stick to my diet and progress I've been making. It feels great to feel better about myself but so hard to be good. The past 4 days were really rough! I keep reminding myself...beach vacation in 26 days!!

@byjove03 I'm not sure if it's just a cold or the asthma but I think it's a combo of both. I should give the ped office a call. Cough medicine is usually for 6+ and she's not quite yet 4.

It sure is slow today! People must actually be working on this marvelous Monday!

@ramy3 Malcolm is on our short list too!  I'm pretty much set on Thaddeus though.  

I don't understand sex disappointment at all.  For me, when I found out that P was a boy, I had all kinds of people (even one of the pediatricians!) ask me if I was disappointed.  WTH?  I was shocked as anything and it certainly took awhile to get it to sink in, but never ever was I disappointed.  People need a freaking reality check.

Picked a tag from angel tree - 15 y/o girl and her 3 month old. One of the items asked for was a crib blanket. Can I buy a sleep sack bc I feel nervous about a blanket in a crib or no because that is none of my business and I shouldn't push what I think on her? She might not know about sleep sacks? Or maybe she does want a blanket. Buy both? Overthink everything?

Crazy day had a parent threaten to get a lawyer if I didn't stop asking her kid personal questions. The questions I ask are part of an assessment and the other was a part of a writing prompt. And if the answers were not suspected abuse on your part maybe you wouldn't be so upset.

I love all these boy names. I'm a classic name person! And I'm so sad that people get so sad. I was so happy to have 2 healthy babies!!! I was a bit sad I would never have a ballerina but not upset and absolutely love my. It's to death.

My husband is working late. It happens every single time I cook a nice meal. Thank you to @somerandomchick‌ for posting the Pioneer Woman's spinach artichoke pasta. It might be months later, but I finally made it & it was scrum-diddly-umptious if I do say so myself.

Hi Ladies!  I'm so sorry I've been MIA for the last few weeks.  Dh has been traveling M-F for the last couple of months, so all the house packing went to me.  Then we finally moved last Saturday, and because I'm an idiot, we hosted Thanksgiving.  So I had to unpack EVERYTHING because my ILs stayed with us, and cook a full Thanksgiving dinner.  I fell off the bed trying to hang curtains and sprained my ankle, and then yesterday I accidentally put Clean Care in my eye (for non-contact wearers, it's 3% hydrogen peroxide).  I gave myself a corneal abrasion and the most pain I've ever been in.

But I think everything is calming down.  I've been doing my best to keep up a little on FB, and I'm gonna go back and read as many threads as I can.  I hope everyone is doing well and had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I thought about you all a lot during the last few weeks, and missed you guys a lot. XOXO

Alex woke up screaming. I went to get him and he puked... in my hands. That was fun. First time he has really vomitted (not just spit up). Chalk that one up for the memory books.
Hopefully its a one of and I won't be up all night with him.
