On Wednesday night I had a miscarriage. As I was leaving work that afternoon, I had cramping for about 2 minutes and a little spotting. I went to the ER but really thought it was going to be nothing. After a long, silent ultrasound, there was no heartbeat and the baby had stopped growing at about 8 or 9 weeks. I was supposed to be 11 weeks. They were able to do the D&C that night and the procedure was easier than I thought. I feel pretty depressed and still a little in shock I guess. We'll probably start trying again in a couple of months.
