We are team green and have a boys name picked out. Our boy name is Easton Wayne. We are having a much harder time with our girl name. The middle name will be Estelle if it's a girl. Originally we were set on Harper. I have always been sort of not dead set because of its popularity. I can name 2 Harpers already. Today a friend on Facebook chose Harper so now I am really not sure. I really like girl names that start with a vowel. So let's hear your votes! These are the names we both like.
Edit: I should add our DD's name is Isabella Marie.
@kefttsc the friend is in another state and their baby isn't due until April. We also are not that close so I guess it really shouldn't bother me if we like it.
@MissEm15 I like Estelle for a first name too but hubby doesn't. He prefers it for a middle.
We are naming DD Harper but like PP, it has special meaning. The popularity does bother me but not enough to settle for something I like less. Could you use Stella for her first name instead if it bothers DH or something similar?
Thanks everyone! Love hearing your opinions. It's hard because they all have a special meaning to us. I think we may just have to wait until this LO is born and see what name fits.
I have a 13 month old Harper I actually don't know any other Harpers around where I live and didn't realize it was quite so popular till coming to the board. I've had the name picked out for years and it honors my late grandfather so i don't have any regrets.
I love the name Avery and it was on my list as well. My husband kept vetoing because to him it sounds like an envelope.

I have a male cousin named Emery, I think Harper is kinda tom boyish and I've heard a couple girls named Avery and have always thought it was a pretty name!
Not a fan or any of those names except the middle name. Would Adele work? Kinda rhymes with Estelle but, maybe use that as the first name instead? I like @lizzybean name options!
My DH just reminded me a long time ago we tossed around the name Sophia Estelle but decided against it for DD. Hmmm. Maybe it should be back on the name board. It goes well with DD's name, Isabella.
Harper is too popular for us too, though I love the name. We know we are having a girl and we were set on the name Isla (the s is silent) for a while but decided to go with a different name instead. Emery was on my list too, so I voted for that but wanted to mention Isla because its so pretty and not as popular.

@crispywheats, haha, you are right. Definitely Golden Girls.
I think Isla is great as is Amelia.
