Got iPad minis - what case and aps?

The only Black Friday sales I hit up was to get ipad minis for the kids. I want to put cases on it. We have an Otter Box on our regular ipad, but I hate it because it makes it hard to get to all the buttons. What other ones are out there that are good for kids? Also, I want to load some apps for them and was hoping that you guys had some ideas that I haven't heard of yet. What ones do you recommend for a 6, 8 and almost 10 year old? Thanks.

Re: Got iPad minis - what case and aps?

  • I have the Peanuts interactive books from Loud Crow on my kindle. All three of my kids, from 1st grader to teen, were amused by them. They're cute. The story is narrated in the characters' voices. The Halloween book had a pumpkin to carve that's used in the story, for an example. I don't know if it's for the ipad too, but they were looking at the christmas book today so it popped in my head.

  • Sprinkle islands and barefoot world atlas are both pretty cool.

If there's an Apple Store near you with a kids' section, they have iPads there with a bunch of games on them. That's how we found out about these.
