Haddock and I are watching Frozen because someone is too lazy to go knock the snow off the dish.

Hint, it isn't the baby that's lazy. When he's old enough I'll be sending him out there with a broom!

Husband shared a few pieces with me. It's gross. All the Facebook stuff is gross because it's just keeps throwing in my face that my kid is going to be judged by many people by the color of his skin or curlyness of his hair before anything else.

I just sold my first baby item on craig's list, the bassinet. When I went to tell DH she is coming today and I need him to carry it downstairs, I started to cry. I know in my heart we are done having kids, but selling this seems so sad haha! DD never slept well in it, but I remember how tiny DS looked when he slept in it.

@haddocky‌ I know! It's my Christmas present this year. I told H that it is 2014 and I want a dishwasher or a car starter. His pick. The dishwasher would require a whole kitchen gut and reno, sooooo, car starter it is.

The last two years, he has been my car starter, but now he leaves for work about a half hour before I do, and I don't want my car running for a half hour.

DH got me a remote starter for Christmas last year, bt didn't install it until a few weeks ago.

I keep forgetting to use it!

Also, today on my way to the store I saw a nun outside of the shrine shoveling the sidewalk dressed in her full ensemble. That's a first.

Ow. I was really dumb and tried to grab a pecan from the pie fresh from the oven to nibble on. And the nut dropped a dollop of steaming hot sugary, buttery pecan goo onto my chest. It us hurting more not less with time. And A is nursing to sleep so I can't ice it. And phone is dying.

Ugh. Had to leave my house because a branch fell and hit my home and is laying on top of the power line that feeds the house. It's over my car and is a big ol' disaster. Luckily my SO had just gotten home! He drove Haddy and I to my moms and now the power company is there to fix the line that is about to snap.

The snow WAS pretty >-)

Lancome, I'm sorry you have to deal with that. 

Haddocky, I'm glad you are all okay. That's so scary!

There are things I want to say and I'm not allowed and it sucks. No I'm not pregnant. I would be allowed to say that. 

Also, I don't know if you've all seen this horrible video of child abuse from Uganda (if you haven't I beg you not to) but I watched it last night and I was sobbing uncontrollably. I had to go and hug my kids. I nearly woke them up because they were already asleep. I hugged Isaac for a good 20 minutes and just sobbed. Then I crawled in bed with Eliza and just cuddled with her for a while. I just can't understand how people can be so horrible to kids. I don't understand how someone so young and innocent "deserves" to be beaten. The woman (a maid) who did it was supposedly beaten by the toddlers father and is being prosecuted for attempted murder and thank God the little girl is okay but it literally broke my heart seeing the video and I'll never be able to unsee it. Seriously don't watch.

After battling his nap, the sledding and dance party finally tuckered out little Aldi. DH and S are curled up on the couch playing a game on daddy's phone. Meat marinating. Baby sleeping in lap. Snow still falling. Precious night.
