Oh I was suuuuuch a Spice Girls fan. I made my mom buy me every stupid merch item we could find, from lipgloss to pop rocks.
I would blast Spice Girls in my parents family room, had a mic and would reenact their videos ... no one was home obvi. I had all the dance moves down.
Nysnc performed at Mall of America close to their album releasing. My friend and I elbow bumped and pushed our way to the front of the stage. We were dedicated man. Then after the most amazing concert ever (at that time) they did an autograph signing! We stood in line for HOURS. And they actually stayed and signed for the entire line! My heart was racing when we got up there. I'm sure I looked like an idiot. And of course Justin (love of my life) was at the end and I had a special picture I printed off the internet just for him to sign. And he asked me where I got it? Like worst case of mouth hanging-open-no-words-coming-out ever commenced ... He asked me a QUESTION!!!! I think I said "the internet."
Uh you guys are forgetting about 98 degrees.... But I agree, Spice Girls beats them all! @tromboner I love both Britney and Christina and I'm not afraid to admit it. One of the best concerts I ever went to was Christina Aguilara, Destiny's Child opened for her and it was amazing!
Britney. My DH and I argue about this because he was in love with Christina after he saw the Genie in a Bottle video.
Destiny's Child is amazing. I knew all the songs. When they played at the Super Bowl a few years ago I was so excited. Then my step mom told everyone how I used to sing and dance to their songs.

It's kind of funny the way this thread turned around like @brittneyandadam mentioned. It kind of turned out August 2014 where it originated from but theirs ended with talking about cheesecake. I like 90s music better than cheesecake I think.

Most of my childhood memories include making up dances to BSB songs and performing them for many indulging parents.
My friends and I would do that as well as recreate the music videos. My mom told me a few months ago she stumbled across the VHS tapes we made. I'm scared.

How about Guster? Sophomore year in HS I sent a bunch of bands a request for raffle items for a band fundraiser. Guster is the only one that even responded. They sent me each of their cds, some stickers, and some patches. I've loved them ever since.
Now I feel dirty, because Hanson was the soundtrack to my lyfe when I was 7. I wouldn't admit it, but I wanted to marry all of them.
From there, I moved to Backstreet Boys and Britney, but if I admit my favourite band as a young teen, I think I'll be sent away to live on the island of shaaaaame.
