Maybe no one will have sex with that guy because of his atrocious grammar. I couldn't even get through the whole thing with "wemen" and the your/their issues.

The comment they link to in that thread is just as horrible. _______
Yeah, I read the rest of the thread, and that guy was either someone trying to be funny and/or be a troll, or he is just the world's biggest asshole. Bad spelling, bad grammar, and a disrespectful, disgusting attitude toward women, not to mention his wife was only 4 weeks PP. I can't imagine why she wouldn't want to have sex with him or give him a BJ. I'm glad Parenting responded the way they did.

For the sake of his wife, I hope he is just a troll.
The "how to tell my mom I'm pregnant again" thread... yikes. Calling your three year old a "manipulative little" as a way to explain why she's not in your custody. Just no.

I think she was referring to her grandmother as manipulative, not the child. Still, though, there are obviously many details that she isn't sharing that would probably shed some light on why she doesn't have custody, and I'm betting they don't all have to do with her grandmother being manipulative.

Yea, I'm guessing there is a very good reason why she does not have custody of her daughter.
Omg! "18 getting pregnant advice"... THAT is exactly why I NEVER lurked while we were ttc and I was active on the IF board! I would have been a ball of mess for weeks over reading crap like that!
The sad thing is that I knew/know a girl at that age (when I was also around 18) that did this. And thought it was a GREAT idea. She already had one kid. I have known her most of my life, and while I have not talked to her in many years, I am still in contact with her parents. She lost all legal rights to her kids. Her parents adopted them because she is a drug addict and in and out of jail. I think the adoption was finalized about 2 years ago. She recently had another baby. Yea, that one popped up on my FB feed about a week after my miscarriage in February. I have no idea what happened with that baby, but for the love of god, I hope she placed it for adoption.
Oh yea, and all her baby daddies? None of them are in the picture, who obviously also had to give up their rights in order for her parents to adopt the kids.
@ShuShubee that's so sad, esp for the poor babies who are helpless. While doing clinicals during nursing school there was a baby the nursery that his mom had him and left because if she came back to the hospital she would be arrested (I don't know details of the situation). It was so sad seeing him being the only baby in the nursery while all other babies were in their moms room getting loved on. I sat and held him for at least an hour, just trying to give him some attention. ( best bet I had a good cry that day when I got home!
The diaper raffle one was interesting. I do think we (as in, the whole bump community of regulars) can get a little "But she called me a name!!" over stupid shit. "Silly stupids" could have easily been ignored, not made into some big "this is a TOU violation!!!" Which, I get, it is a TOU violation, but it seems that one minute we're saying "grow up, because internet" and then the next we're crying for the mods because we're called a really tame name that you'd tell your kids to just ignore.
I'll step down from my soap box now
I did get a chuckle out of "silly stupids" That's something my second grader would call her cousin. I'm gonna use that during my next fight with my husband.
Wow interesting reads. My mom did a raffle at my baby shower but you didn't have to bring anything, everyone who showed up got a ticket and at the end my mom gave away three sets of gourmet chocolates. Diaper raffles are tacky but regular surprise raffles are fun

Thank you! Completely agree, I mean I think the OP was trying to "smooth" things over by being cute (not that that was the way to do it), but there was a huge overreaction. Someone has to call me something way worse than a silly stupid for me to get my panties in a bunch!
