I saw this on Facebook this AM and I had to share. It's rediculus. (Although yea like 2 of the names might be real names)

Actually I have seen people or went to school with people with all of those names. In one of my design classes there was a girl name Cinnamon. Crispin was a guy's middle name from high school. Odd, and now I'm hungry.

Edit: forgot an apostrophe because of no coffee.

Crispin is an actual name and was even used by Shakespeare.

That is true is was used in Henry V, the Saint Crispin's Day Speech. (English degree with a focus in Shakespeare) Sorry for the extra nerdiness.

I also know a Cinnamon! Successful professional woman despite the name .

I know a Cinnamon, too!  Little girl at the camp I worked at.  Her mom's name was Honey and her sister's names were Scarlet and Ginger (another name on that list!).

ETA: Of all of the names on that list Berry and Maple are the only two I haven't encountered someone really named that.  I know about four Sages, actually.

So a friend is adopting a little girl named Harminnie. While names may not be ridiculous, some spellings are atrocious! And I went to school with a guy who's last name was Crispin- we all still call him Crispy.

I knew a Cinnamon once, too! That girl could work a pole!

I never forgot the name Crispin because Crispin Bonham-Carter (distant cousin of Helena) played Mr. Bingley in the A&E Pride and Prejudice The internet also tells me that Berry was a modestly used name in the 1880s and 90s.

I think we are probably more used to the spelling Barry as a name vs Berry as the fruit

I went to elementary school with a girl named Chestnut. That's a pretty festive name. Although I always pictured a horse when someone called her.

I'm sorry......But in a thread laughing at made-up names, which a lot of these aren't, I find the spelling of "ridiculous" ironic.
