This is a check-in for those who are doing IVF/IVM or FET with an ER/ET scheduled for November. If you are interested in joining, please fill us in on your cycle below.  Please include what cycle number this is for you, where you are in the process, when you expect to start stims, and when you're planning on retrieval and transfer.  Also, please update us along the way!

Hello Ladies!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Congrats to our BFP ladies!  HUGS to the BFN ladies. Fx for all of the PUPO ladies!!  Sending baby dust to all!!

AFM - I am 5dp3dt.  I woke up this morning wondering if I could POAS.  I talked myself down off the ledge since it is way to early!!!  My beta is Monday, December 1. 

QOTD - I am thankful for my family!  I am also extremely thankful for the new friends I have met recently going through all of this IF crap with me.  I truly believe I am a blessed girl!

Sitting here waiting for beta before work. I have POAS so nice friday and all BFN. everyone else in my family still has hope. I don't. I asked them to call with results during my lunch so I don't have to wait until 3. I've cried all weekend to prepare myself for the results I'm probably going to get. My emotions have been a roller coaster this weekend. I will update later when I get the dreaded call.

QOTD- I am so thankful for my husband. He deals with crazy me and knows how to calm me down and make me laugh. I am thankful for my family and friends who are also dealing with me on this journey.

Still just waiting for my beta, one more week to go.  I had IB Saturday night and decided to give in and test with a FRER Sunday, I got a BFP.  I'm trying not to get too excited yet, still need the beta  to make it official.

@Bcara11 (((HUGS))) I'm so sorry you are feeling down about your Beta. At times like this it's hard to see any good in our situation. Just let yourself feel what you feel. Don't feel like you should have to get over it too quickly. Of course I'm still praying for your success, but I'm praying for peace in your heart as well.

@NariaDreaming I'm glad that you are regaining a bit of yourself and your body is calming down after your cycle. I know for me, it took 4 weeks for the water weight I had been carrying due to my OHSS to go away. I'm sure that you feel better. I'm also sorry to hear that you are having reactions to your meds. That's never easy. (((HUGS))) to you.

@cokiebear FX for you your beta, great willpower!

@blueeyes233 FX that your at home BFP turns into a + Beta!

AFM: I'm trucking along with the PIO and Del Estrogen. My backside is in a perpetual state of soreness. Not pain so much, just sore. Working out and warm showers seems to help a lot! So I hope my RE doesn't tell me that I have to stop after ET. Got the call this weekend confirming my ET for Tuesday at 12:15 pm.

QOTD: I'm thankful for a lot in life. I'm so so thankful for the means that I have been given with which to do so much for DH and I this year. I'm thankful for being given peace about how IVF#1.2 went. I'm thankful for being able to feel peace in a time when so many around the world are feeling anything but.

QOTD: I'm with @jeezidunno‌. I'm thankful for God giving me the opportunity to cycle. It almost didn't happen. I think about the women that aren't able to have the opportunity & are left hopeless. I'm thankful for all support my dh has given me thus far & continues to give me. I'm thankful for all that I have & the ability to strive for the things that I don't have.

@shadiddynyc I'm 8dp5dt today so I'll probably try out a digital on Wednesday (10dp).  I just want to see "Pregnant" then I'm done testing at home.  My beta isn't until Monday which will be 15dp5dt, so I ended up with a full TWW. Hopefully I'll have a strong number then and won't have to stress about low betas (my last one was 47 9dp5dt and I had to go in for 4 betas to make sure the number went up ok).

Morning Ladies

FERT Report is in!

So like I mentioned yesterday, they retrieved 26 eggs yesterday. The embryologist said 17 were mature at collection, and 3 more matured over night (they do IVM on immature ones). So they did pICSI on 20 eggs, and 19 fertilized  I'm soo excited! Now I have to keep my fingers crossed that a good number continue to grow well, and that I don't end up with OHSS so we can go ahead with a planned 5 day transfer on Friday.

QOTW: Always for my DH and my family. Right now I'm also very thankful for my 19 embabies!!

@cwoodward777‌ my et is Wednesday. Still waiting on the call for the time. They predicting snow on Wednesday so I'm hoping it's in the morning.

@SweetieShellieH that is an awesome fert report!! FX for the rest until freeze/ET!!

@jeezidunno Oh, I did ER way back in July. Got a short lived, but much loved BFP, and 5 frosties. So this is just an FET of one of my 5. In general, this cycle has been much better on my body, since I'll be able to work out up until the morning of transfer and have zero bloat! :-bd

Good morning ladies! Good luck to those of you with betas coming up this week and hugs to those of you that need them! Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

AFM - Still waiting around for beta on Friday. The line on the HPT has continued to get darker over the weekend, so hopefully it will be good news! I have been absolutely starving all weekend long and can't seem to eat enough food. Maybe its the progesterone? Good thing Thanksgiving is coming up and there will be lots of yummy food to eat!

QOTD: I am so thankful for DH and both of our families. They have been so supportive through this whole process and rooting for us every step of the way. Feeling very blessed this Thanksgiving!

I updated in last weeks thread, but I got my final freeze report and we ended up with 2 blasts to freeze.  Right now the plan is to start BCPs when I get my period (hopefully next week), repeat my SIS, and plan on a FET in January.  I might also try to get in for a consult with my RE to see if there is anything else we need to look at regarding my lining. 

QOTD: Right now I am thankful for our 2 surprise frosties that are giving me one last shot at biological children.

Hi ladies!!

***BFP warning***

I POAS on Saturday at 5dp5dt, and got a positive! I was still a little paranoid that it might still be the trigger (even though I tested it out), but the line was a little darker the next day, so I am calling it! I am incredibly relieved and grateful, but also very nervous, as my last BFP ended in an ectopic loss. My first beta is Wednesday, and my second is on Friday, so I hope you don't mind if I post through that second beta at least.

Good morning ladies! Congrats to the new BFPs and hugs to those who need them! Good luck to all the PUPOs!!

AFM: I POAS yesterday morning (8dp3dt) I thought maybe I saw a super faint line. This morning I used a blue dye walmart cheapie and it was negative. Yesterday I used my last first response. My husband keeps telling me it's too early, but I'm convinced that it didn't happen for us. He has been looking up stuff online all morning to try to prove to me there is still hope. I guess I'll find out for sure on Wednesday.

QOTD: I'm thankful for my husband. Through this whole process he had been my rock. I couldn't have made it through this month without him.

***BFP WARNING***

We had planned to go beta or bust, but that unraveled last night when I was spotting before bedtime. I freaked out and finally took a HPT at 12:34am this morning... it is POSITIVE!! We dipped all the sticks - Clearblue, FRER, and digital - and they were all positive! My beta came back this morning at 367... 8dp5dt We are OVER THE MOON!!

ET was today- From the 6 that fertilized we still had 5 left by today! From our past 2 cycles we have never had more 1 ever! We are thrilled at the possibility to have our first snow babies. We will find out in a few days if any of them made it. We ended up transferring 2 early blast that were of good quality. I couldn't get anymore information other than that out of the embryologist. She said since we did PICSI its normal to have them grow a little slower? (not sure why?) Our beta is Dec. 4th and I will be POAS starting Friday. I congratulate all of you that beta or bust. I have no will power!

AFM: we got over freeze report, and they were able to freeze 10 embryos 6 on day 5 and 4 on day 6. I am so happy about that, compared to the last time where I only had one fertilize and transfer.  

Possible BFP:

I tested this morning, and got a really faint line on internet cheapie at 4dp5dt. I am soo excited can't wait to see the line get darker. I tested the trigger out yesterday, when it was negative and today I saw the faintest of faint line. I have Beta on December 1.

QOTD: I am thankful for my loving husband, who has been with me through all this process.

To all the BFN, I am sorry to hear your news.  FX to all those in limbo!  Congrats to all the BFP!

QOTW:  I am thankful for my husband always being optimistic when I am not (sometimes his optimism has actually frustrated me when I am not at that place, but then I think about how much harder it would be if he was in the same place as me and feeling negative-I need him to be strong).   @cokiebear I agree.  I am thankful for being given the chance to try to get pregnant because of the medicine and research.

Hi all! So I had my retrieval yesterday and we retrieved 34 eggs and 30 fertilized. hoping a lot make it to day 5 because our struggle is the genetics. So hoping at least a few come back genetically normal but we won't know for a few weeks still. Then hopefully we transfer in Jan!

Still waiting for Nov 30th or Dec 1st for my beta. I'm 7dp3dt and so far my cheap sticks are saying negative. I know its still early so I'm hopeful. I would really like to know by Thanksgiving since its hard to my around my nieces so I'll probably test again on Thursday with an expensive test.

I'm thankful for the Tiny Turkeys so I have people to talk to each week about the IVF process. Congrats to all who gave received good news and hugs to those who need one.

Officially a BFN. My heart is shattered again.... Waiting to hear from the RE today or tomorrow about results and what is next. Last time during fresh cycle I was textbook and they didn't know what was wrong. Uggh can't wait to get home so I can cry since it wasn't a good idea to do that in front of my students today.

AFM: I'm now 8dp5dt and my line is finally darker and I got a "positive" on the digital test. My beta is supposed to be on Friday if I can find a clinic near my mom's house that is open! I haven't let myself feel excited because I haven't had my betas yet. It seems like so much can happen and I just feel guarded. Like if I don't get excited I can't get hurt. 

QOTD: So thankful for my husband. He is the most considerate, helpful, wonderful person the world. I don't know how I would get through life without him.

So much is going on! Congrats @lebradford and@RunCC37! And big, big hugs to @cokiebear and @BCara11.

We had egg retrieval Thursday, and got 13 eggs. Only 3 fertilized so we were feeling really down, but miraculously all made it to Sunday for our 3 day transfer. We had a very long debate over to do 1 or 2 - the doctor recommends 2 for my age, but my husband really doesn't want twins, and he's usually very go with the flow, so it was important to me not to push him on it. Our doctor understood and completely supported us, and talked us through other options. So we transferred one knowing our odds are lower, and hoping that at least one of our two remaining embryos makes it to freeze. I'm trying to remain calm and peaceful .

QOTD: I am thankful for so much, especially my husband who is so caring, present and supportive. I am also so, so grateful for the people I've met through my IF journey - I wouldn't be sane without them.

BFP Warning - but super super cautious, don't even want to announce because beta is so low. Well I am in total shock, had my beta today and it is 20 at 11dp 3dt, this was with a transfer of 3 poor quality embryos. I was just expecting a negative. I go back Wednesday to see if the numbers get better, but I know that number is low and this could very well be a CP. I don't know what to think at this point. Just thought I'd share, but the nurse didn't sound very optimistic.

I decided to POAS yesterday morning which was 7dp5dt.  I got the faintest BFP possible.  I was squinting and had to ask my husband if he could see it just to confirm.  It was a target blue dye test, so I bought a FRER and also got a faint BFP.  I tested again this morning but the line didn't really change.  So, I am super excited, but also concerned that it could just be a chemical.  Beta is suppose to be Wednesday, but I am going Tuesday afternoon due to my work schedule.

QOTW: I am thankful for my family.  I am also extremely thankful that I have been able to attempt IVF in order to start our family.  I'm thankful that the science exists and that we were able to come up with a way to pay for it.  I know there are other IFers that simply do not have the resources, which is sad.  I hope that one day insurance is mandated to cover IVF.

@Kaly75 I have heard FET can have slow rising betas.  So, it would make sense for it to take longer to get a POAS BFP.  Keep your head up.

@RunCC37  I am so incredibly happy for you.  You have been through the IF ringer and definitely deserve this.  You have also been very supportive to the rest of the IFers.  So, thank you and congrats!

@Cokiebear I am so sorry.  Hopefully, you can come up with a plan after your WTF appointment.

 AFM: We had ET today. We transferred one, and will find out if anything made it to freeze tomorrow. This is such a surreal feeling! It keeps occurring to me that I have an embie floating around in my uterus. Crazy!

@AngM123‌ how did you decide on whether to transfer one or two? I really want to transfer two but I don't think I would be able to care for twins. I mean if I was blessed with them, I wouldn't have a choice but I would prefer a singleton but I want the optimum result for at least one to take.

@shadiddynyc‌ Luckily, I didn't have a choice! My clinic is very firm on only transferring one given you are under 35, it's your first transfer, and you have a good blast. Now, if this cycle fails and we have frosties, we will have an option to transfer two next time. Such a difficult decision to make, I can understand your fear. When is your transfer?

Got the letter in the mail today, no embryos to freeze this cycle.  While this was a great cycle as far as mature eggs and fertilization rates I can't help but feel it was a bust as far as embryo development went.  I've never not had blasts on day 5 and I've always had at least one to freeze.  Out of 20 fertilized eggs and 18 embryos left on day 3 we only ended up with the two morulas that we transferred on day 5.  

I think I read some where that embryo development in the first three days is the egg and after that it is embryo and sperm quality playing factors.  We had both donor and DH's sperm so I'm just not sure where things went wrong.  My clinic isn't great with the communication so I'm not sure when I can get answers to the questions that I have.  If I get a viable pregnancy out of this I'll be happy of course, I just have lots of questions.

Hugs to the BFN happy for those BFPs and PUPO! AFM: Just trying to stay hopeful during this tww! Kinda going crazy already. QOTD: I am thankful for such a supportive family... My immediate family all know that we are doing IVF and its been endless support from the start. I also so extremely thankful for such an amazing husband.. he's my best friend. Lastly, so thankful to be able to afford IVF. There is nothing I'd rather spend my savings on than creating a family.

@AngM123‌ my transfer is scheduled for Wednesday, 12:45. All my embryos are growing well & all @ 8 cells with no fragmentation. Not sure of the exact quality but they're doing very well. I'm 37 so I believe that's why they're giving me a choice. Gl with this cycle. Fx that it will stick.

I had my lining check this morning and it was not good. The nurse is happy with my E2 (2271) but my lining is only a 4. Along with my 3 Vivelle patches a day, I now get to add Viagra suppositories 3x per day. So far I'm not a fan. I'm already feeling dizzy and lightheaded. Next appointment is Friday to see if I've made any progress.

Even if I make it to a transfer it won't be until next month. So I think this is where I leave the tiny turkeys. I've enjoyed being a part of this group and I will continue to lurk and show my support. I'll be rooting for each and every one of you.

QOTD: I am very thankful for my amazing family. I'm also incredibly grateful for my best friend, who dropped everything today to come cheer me up when I was having the shittiest day. And for my awesome and supportive husband, who went out of his way to pick up my meds today. He's been so great though the whole IVF process. I don't know what I would do without him.

Wow, so much activity! So excited to see all the new BFPs, PUPO, and great fert reports!

AFM, tomorrow is my day 5 transfer. I got word on day 2 that all 5 embryos were coming along, but haven't heard any news since. This is our first IVF cycle and I'm so very thankful to have made it to this point after 4 years TTC.

AFM - I am 6dp6dt and my anxiety and nervousness are rising! I got beta moved up to Friday but will POAS on Thursday. 2 more days left!!! Praying hard for those two lines!!!

QOTW - I am so thankful for my family and friends for being so supportive this entire month and during our IF journey. I am also thankful for y'all and TB, I was in a difficult place several months ago with IF going on but opening up to friends and finding these boards has worked wonders for my emotional stability.
