BTDT MoMs of toddlers or older - a question on 1:1 time

Another MoM and I were talking about how we don't do 1:1 time with our littles very often if at all and I wondered if there are negative consequences of this? She said she thinks twins become too dependent on each other if they aren't separated sometimes. I think there is nothing normative about twin development (as compared to singleton) anyway and that's just what they know. That said, one of mine is more verbal than her somewhat more introverted sister and I wonder if some 1:1 time with a parent would be helpful in drawing her out a bit.

IVF (BCPs starting 10/30/12, ER 11/18/12, 5dt of 1 beautiful, healthy embryo 11/23/12)
BFP 12/02/12, u/s @ 6w,5d showed 2 HBs! Identical twins!!
Bed rest from 21w-35w due to short cervix, hospital bed rest from 23w-32w due to PTL
Our rainbows were born 07/19/13 (36w, 5d)
