I lost my grandma this way. She was fine and full of life one day, and then she fell. When she was in the hospital they found end stage lung cancer and she didn't last more than a week. I know this may not sound comforting to you now, but the way I look at it is, they lived a long life and get to go pretty peacefully instead of suffering from a drawn out painful illness. My mom fought a hard battle with cancer for two years at age 50 and we lost her anyway. I hope you can find some peace in knowing that your grandma will not have to suffer. ((HUGS))

Oh your beautiful second update hit close to home and I am in tears now. I am so so sorry for you and your family's loss. I lost my Grandma very suddenly and with no warning a couple of months ago.

I know it doesn't change what happened, but I am thankful that you got the chance to say goodbye and tell her much you love and appreciate her. Big hugs to you my dear.
