Is it normal for baby to be active and hyper one day and calm the next day at 5 months?!

Totally normal. Especially at 5mo, baby may be just as active, but positioned in a way that his movements are harder to feel. Also, if you're active, your movement tends to rock baby to sleep; when you're quiter, baby is more active, and the movements are more noticeable.

If i haven't felt much in 48 hours I will always just get checked out! But they can have lazier day!

Yes very normal. At 20weeks/5 months you could go a few days to a week withouth feeling anything. Their actions become more regular closer to 30weeks.
