Happy Monday gals!

I had an awesome weekend. DH set up Ella's big girl bed last night, and re-constructed the swing and exersaucer (which she won't even need for months but I wasn't about to slow him down!!).

She is currently in her "new room" rolling around on the bed in the dark having a grand old time cuddling in her new duvet.

We are going to a Publix tour with our Moms group today, should be fun!!

I hope everyone has a decent Monday, that's all we can really hope for, right?

At work already... We have our big lab inspection today and I have no energy or drive to do anything today. Brett is out of town and trying to get Hails up by myself and out the door was just too much this morning.  But at least I have my 28 week appointment today and get to find out how I did with my 3 hour GTT.

Happy Monday! I woke up this morning to zero milk (cereal is out), no bread or bagels (no toast), so the only real solution is left over pumpkin cheesecake I think...

I have class today where I walk (a mile or so) to school... But I'm not looking forward to it today...

OAN: I went to pick up my diabetic supplies at my pharmacy yesterday...they didn't have an order for me. The office only gave me a sample pack of test strips to get through the weekend...so guess who I'll be calling bright and early this AM?!

Trying to get Hailey up and dressed for school shes fighting me about it. Still off work with my knew. Which really doesn't make me all that sad.

Hoping my jacket comes early today. The walmart.com tracking says it won't be here until 3 though. Which sucks because I was hoping to sell some of DD's old winter clothes from last year. So unless it comes early I think I'll stay in the house.

Good morning! It's cold and rainy here I wish it was snow.

Sat night H, while completely asleep, sweetly covered me with the down comforter twice! Of course this was right after I tossed it off because I was super hot but it made me giggle. He is sweet even in his sleep

He also stayed up later than normal putting our closet system up in the baby room. I love that man.

As for me I had some BH that had me awake for an hour last night so I be sleepy today!

Good morning!  

We had a pretty good weekend here with the finals of rugby classic and our usual weekend activities.  I kept getting yelled at for picking things up yesterday in the set-up for the mini rugby, which is annoying because none of it was super heavy, but whatever.  I got the curtains put up in Surprise's room and arranged the crib and figured out what I can keep and wash and what has to go.  I'm going to be able to save us another $50+ by doing that.  I've got a car inspection today for re-licensing and a wax.  

I got gifted a hospital-grade pump (Medela Lactina) from one of my friends back home and I'm taking it to class today to see if my instructor/her company can bring in the disposable kit portion to the island or if I have to order it and have it sent to SIL's for DH to pick up in January.

@erobbin09 Stay safe and be careful out there today.

Haven't even been to sleep yet. Too excited for my Jamberry Facebook Launch Party!

I guess it's just as well. I start my new job at 8am on Tuesday and need to get back to a better sleep schedule than 4am to noon! Totally forgot to go get some more simply sleep yesterday to help put me to sleep. So I guess I'll just have to go out later and get some and take it early enough to knock my butt out in time. Fortunately I only work until 2pm or so tomorrow and the next day. Just irks when pregnancy brain gets in the way!

We got dumped on last night as well. DH was super sweet and cleared my car off for me.

I guess I will be bumping most of the day since my desk was packed up Friday for the move on the weekend...that never happened.

work travel is FINALLY over for the year, and since I am missing my busy season in the spring due to Maternity leave, I have no major work travel until NEXT FALL!!!! YAY!!!  The idea of not being away from DS and DH for that long makes me smile on this cold rainy monday morning.

I get my GT results today from my Friday blood draw.  Other than that nothing exciting going on.

Sitting in the doctors office waiting for my GD blood draw. Man, I totally built that drink up in my head. I actually kinda liked the taste, but I've also drank a lot of gross shit in my day- jägerbombs and jungle juice anyone? Ugh!

I'm fine with random, stupid posts because we can have fun with them but I'm starting to get really annoyed by people acting like autism from a shot (even if it's impossible) is worse than possible death. There is no acceptable way for me vent that anger because I would need to break and throw things to get it all out and I'd still be angry about it.

This morning is amazing. DS slept in until 8, the dogs didn't wake me up, when DH woke me up to give me a kiss bye at 6 he whispered to think about where I wanted to go out to dinner tonight (at least I hope he did and it wasn't a dream) and it's cold and rainy outside leaving our whole neighborhood clouded in mist. It's beautiful outside and smells amazing.

Love tit for a wonderful morning! Ella slept until 7:10 and it was amazing too. And DH didn't wake me when he left for work. Score!! Enjoy your day

Has anyone tried pregnancy teas? I'm just curious about them. Are they even worth buying?

I'm trying to kick coffee because drinking it just makes me crave sweets. If you saw how I drank it before GD you'd understand.

DH is freaking out over a test he has next Monday. He has to do it by proctor so I can't help keep him on track and falling into his test anxiety hole.

I scheduled a bf class this week and a baby basics not realizing that he had this test.

@erobbins09‌ Be careful for ice under the snow. Maybe invest in ice cleats if you are going to keep walking to school.

Gloomy Monday morning over here. I had nine hours of sleep and I still feel sluggish as hell thanks to the rain. My husband was in a similar mood, so we were both grumpy on our walk to work.

Duh light-bulb moment this morning: I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week. Will someone please tell me when that happened?

Hi ladies!
Yesterday I started feeling crummy and it only progressively got worse. I was up all night with a pounding headache and achy feeling. I called out of work today so now I'm just nursing my poor head. What is with these migraines in pregnancy?! It's not fair I don't even get to enjoy drinking and I still feel hungover!

I have finally touched down from three weeks of traveling and I'm completely exhausted.  I also don't know how I'm going to function having to come into the office for a full 5 days straight.  Sometimes being out is nice.  

We are cold and rainy here and are expecting more cold which is completely unheard of this time of year in the South.  

I really want to attempt to make my aunt's kolache cookie recipe converted to gluten free this year and I think I'm going to do a test batch this weekend.  Christmas baking is the only thing I miss about having to be gluten free.

Had a pretty non eventful weekend.  Went to dinner on sat night with my sis and her boyfriend.  She asked if it was OK that she not come to the hospital when he's born.  I'm a bit peeved.  the hospital is 2 miles down the rd from her apt.  WTF.  I was like um yeah I would like you to come visit it would be nice to see your nephew who will also be your godson.  Am I overreacting? This weekend we have a wedding to go to and my sis the MOH and my parents are also coming in.  Should be fun.  We also have my next door neighbors little boys 5th bday party.  What do you get for a 5 year old boy?  He's obsessed with sports and has a hell of a swing on him.  Any suggestions from moms with boys???

DH was trying to fix a clog in the shower yesterday because he thinks he can be a plumber ("I'm an engineer, how hard can this be?" UGH I hate when he says shit like that. Disaster almost always happens shortly after ) and I'm pretty sure he made it worse since instead of slow draining there was no draining after showers today...except for the draining happening through the ceiling in the living room.  He already left for work, so I went running around putting things to catch the water and scoop the rest of the water in the tub into buckets.  I'm exhausted. I need a nap!  Time to get ready for work though. I think the rest of today should go smoother!

Just that she doesn't really like hospitals and thought she could just come to our house when we came home.  Pisses me off. She went to visit her BFF's mom in the hospital several times when she had cancer. If I was one of her friends she'd prob come running with balloons and shit.  Ugh!!!

Last night my dog decided she wanted to frolic in the snow... until 1:30 AM... (she's Houdini, our professional escape artist)... So that was my first wake up call...

Then around 3:30 DH started screaming (ok, not screaming, it wasn't THAT loud) in his sleep, I guess he had a bad dream or something... literally, the second time in 6 years he's woke me up screaming (not screaming?)... It was pretty cute though, I won't lie!

Good news is, I didn't wake MYSELF up at all last night... Small miracles I guess...

Thanks @lizzybean. Today keeps getting better. DH called to tell me that he still wants to take me out for dinner and he wanted to make sure I remember to think of what I want and DS just ate 3 pancakes for breakfast! My child is eating well, my husband wants to take me out to dinner and I don't feel like crap this morning. This is a once in a lifetime kind of day. 

@schnitz9 I think that's shitty too. L&D wards are completely different from the rest of the hospital and a 5 minute visit should be nothing at all to most people (except those with phobias and high fear/anxiety).

Morning all. GL to all who are taking or getting results for GTT. I'm currently sitting in the waiting room for my 3hr and I am so hungry I could cry. ( On a positive note my shower on Saturday was wonderful. I don't have pictures yet. DH also came home from his 10 day hunt. I missed him so much. He was actually excited when I showed him all the shower gifts. :x

Thats exactly what I said.  This phobia thing is bullshit.  She never had it before.  i told her that the maternity ward was totally different very happy and fun.  The hospital does have a level 4 NICU but it is completely separate on on a different floor even.  It just stupid.  I told my mom and she was like don't worry she'll be there if we have to drag her...Ugh.

Good morning bumps!

It's rainy, cold and nasty out here.  I wish it was snow so I could at least go out and frolic in it.

I'm in a yucky mood today, this weekend was weird.  Saturday was actually pretty great, H said he was feeling well enough from his man cold to go out so we made a trip to a botanical garden, had a great dinner and Addie was happy all day.  Yesterday, however, started out with me not sleeping much the night before because my throat hurt and I was coughing myself awake.  When I woke up and told H I hadn't slept much his response was "well, did you DO anything about it?  Take some medicine!"  Nut punch.  He then laid on the couch and played computer games all day while I took care of Addie.  It was like he wasn't even home.  I asked him if he would either bathe her or put her to bed and he kind of just laughed and ignored me both times.  I was so upset last night that I couldn't even bring myself to say anything to him because I knew I would lose it and start crying.  I know I need to talk to him again but I am honestly just so emotionally and physically drained at this point I  don't want to.  Eghhh, just one of those days I guess.
