We are having a snow day today! It's been great just letting DD play while we totally veg out for the day. Just ordered a pizza with pepperoni, bell peppers and banana peppers and it was so yummy!

I feel like such a bad parent. Buying clothes for DD is nearly impossible. Larges are too short or two tight and xl's are two long in the sleeves and the legs. I just feel so shitty because I've been looking online for plus size little girls clothing

I feel like such a failure as a parent. There was never a problem with her wait until we lived with the in laws who started to feed her loads of junk and fast food while I was at work. No matter how much we asked them not to they still did it.

Even though we've been out of there a year it just seems like she hasn't lost any weight and I know part of it is because she still goes there during the summer while I work.

I hate having to resort to looking at kids plus sizes just to find something that will fit her.

Hugs @psychobutthead. You can only control so much and it sounds like you take very good care to keep her healthy. Don't worry about her size as long as she's healthy. A lot of kids need that extra weight for when they hit growth spurts. It might save her from getting stretch marks when she shoots up in height.

It was so busy today and one of my baristas called in sick, then my manager forgot she scheduled herself so she was an hour and a half late. I am exhausted. I was running around with my head cut off trying to keep us caught up. I am not going to attempt to read through the spam. I am waiting to get my shot and then the nurse has to talk with me. It is probably about my glucose test. I am really hoping it is good news but I have a feeling it is not. Hope everyone has had a great day so far or at least a better day than mine.

So I was just told I have to do the 3 hour test. I guess I was supposed to be 135 and I was 180. I going home to take a nap. I am over today!!!

Count me in for the GD club

I was just about to head to lunch when I got the dreaded call from the doctor's office. I wasn't even borderline diabetic, my results showed I had it without a doubt. 

My mum lied, she said I shouldn't get diabetes if I stay skinny. I'm still *skinny" just with a bump. Not weight correlated at all.  I'm a sad panda.

@paleomama, I hit 185 when I was supposed to be 135 (or something like that in the 2nd hour). I too want to go home and take a nap.  I hope you pass your 3 hr test.

I think I've figured out my new "regular" digestive process.

No pooping for days then all at once. But for what it's worth I now feel like I could do backflips while eating 104 pizza rolls.. Or was it 19? Either way... Glad I've solved this conundrum.

I'm off to assesment again. I've been having light cramping off and on today and sometimes like a tightening feeling. I didn't think much of it. All I've done today is laundry.

But I was sitting in my car waiting inline to get DD when these cramps out of nowhere came at me. They were so painful. The last time I felt anything like that in my life DD was born 9 hours labor. WTH? This pregnancy has been so easy but so difficult. I haven't really had MS with it or even heart burn hardly at all and I had it with DD and was miserable. But i never got cramping with her or anything. WTH is just wrong with me?

@Ducktale‌ I am so sorry you are going through this and it sounds heartbreaking. I am worried about my little fur baby with a new baby on the way and I can't imagine what you are going through.

At 1:30 this morning my boys did not want me to sleep. My husband was snoring and this little one was kicking up a storm. I moved around hoping to stop the snoring and MH asked if I was ok and I told him he and his son were keeping me up. He asked how and I said snoring and kicking and then preceeded to ask me "who's snoring?" as if the one inside of me was the culprit. He's lucky he's cute...

I just read the results on my online profile that looks like I passed the 1 hour GD test, WOO! But it also mentions that my WBC count is a little high. This makes me nervous because I'm meeting with the specialist tomorrow that I was referred to for echogenic bowel. I refer to her as the devil doctor, she's horrible and terrifying when she speaks to me. I had really high hopes she would be signing off on my case tomorrow (FX) but I'm worried that the high WBC count will make her keep me on. ugggghhh sorry, random rant. Carry on ladies!

I've been MIA because I've been drowning in coffee the last couple of days. We've been super busy, run out of every product imaginable (peppermint, mocha, espresso, milk, decaf espresso, chai, caramel brûlée, drink toppings). Also our ice machine broke, and our cafe bar broke for a couple of the days.

I'm in the middle of a nine day work week, but I'll this weekend off! That NEVER happens unless I request it! Plus my manager gave Kaleb & I a day off together so that's nice.

This morning my shift manager was late to open the store (we are supposed to be there at 4:30 & he didn't show up until after 5), and a barista called in (her "car wasn't working"....right...). AGAIN. Amazing manager is amazing & put them in their place. I have such a mentor crush on her.

Way to put on the pressure/stress! I had a relatively easy time conceiving both times, but I would never EVER do that in a million years. Wow. And @lizzybean‌ is SO right, you'll get to see a pic of the pee stick if/when it does happen.

congestion is making me sleep with mouth open=sore throat.   Took DD to see Yo Gabba Gabba live on sat night for her 2nd bday, what a cute performance, she loved it! 

Went to 28 week appt today (even tho im 29 tomorrow) and Dr told me she has a scheduled vacation for my DD - ugh, makes me nervous about the VBAC!  trying to decide if i should switch Drs. within the practice

Hm... My sisters a/s scans are sending her back for additional tests since they found cysts on the brain. I know she did her multiple marker and some other genetic tests that all came back normal... And it seems Dr Google is telling me it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong... I know we are past this point and I vaguely remember some people being told this was a thing for them... Did any of our regulars have this going on and have anything inside info?

dh calls his mom an tells her maje sure the gate is locked. i tell him tell her to just put them in the garage.

ge tells me to go fuck myself the conversation doesnt concern me. when he got off the phone i told him i didnt need that and didnt deserve that.

he tells me call me when you're out and then leaves. this is the support i get. and maybe me being here is no big deal. but theres no reason to treatme that way over a dog.

Just got back from my 28 week appointment. This MW was awesome!   answered all my questions that I finally remembered to ask, gave me my TDap vaccination, apolgized for the way the bitch MW treated me at my last appointment, assured me that my weight gain was right on track and confirmed that I am actually still under original appointment weight, but that since little man is doing good - we aren't going to worry about it. Oh and the best part :  I PASSED MY 3 HOUR GTT!!!

Ok, gotta go get Hails before FIL winds her up too much, but will catch up on all the SPAM when I get back.

oh and thanks for the Good Luck for the Lab inspection today. We passed it with NO deficiencies!  My firs perfect inspection out of the 4 I have done. The other 3 all had 1-2 minor deficiencies, but this one she couldn't find anything wrong!
