Oh HI 5 in the morning. I've forgotten how much I've missed you.

Today is my first day of work!!!!!!!! I have no idea if I'll be able to bump. But I'll be taking post it notes of things to tell you guys when I'm done.

DD has not been sleeping well again. I keep hoping it's just teething and that once the tooth pops in, she'll go back to normal, but so far no luck. I'm exhausted. Fighting a cranky baby to get Motrin into her at 1 am is not my idea of fun. 

On the plus side, within the past week, I've found out that both my best friend AND my brother and SIL are having babies! They are both due about a month apart! My BF and I keep having babies about 1.5 - 2 years apart, and it's so much fun to watch them play and interact. And also, I'm so excited to be an aunt!! (We have nieces and nephews on DH's side, but none on mine yet).

This may be old news (since I haven't been able to keep up as much as usual) but this morning I was able to delete the pic I attached to my post yesterday. I didn't insert it into my post, but had just left it attached, so not sure if that made a difference.

Just throwing that out there since it's been an issue lately.

I wish it were snowing here, but only if it were enough to close school. I just really don't feel like going to work today. And we've got a lot of work to do this week because we are getting ready to track-off again next week. But alas, it's going to be beautiful weather here all week.

Good luck today! @Codypup‌ I hate pooping when other people are around/know about it so I try to hold it but that doesn't work like it did prebaby. Now I pretty regularly sneak myself into a bathroom let it fly then sneak out.

I want/need a snow day too! Unfortunately, that definitely wont (ever) be happening. Report cards are due Wednesday and I have to try to finish today because I have the funeral tomorrow.

@ramfan05‌ I always think your tracks would be awesome until I remember you have to break down your classroom. We had a track system with a very different schedule from yours when I was litte and the teacher's kept their room. Now that I can get on board with.

@caer I hope things go well with your acquaintance. That sounds like quite the awkward situation. It was good of you to agree to meet her, I probably would have ignored the call!

@iwubrory, ugh, report cards! Hope you are able to finish them quickly! I am so excited for this track off because this year, there is another teacher at my grade level on the same track as me. This means that I moved last time, and she moves this time All I have to do is have my kids finish all of their units/projects, get all of my grading done (just so I don't have it hanging over my head during break), and I am good to go!

Checking in! So far so good. It's way more laid back than what I'm used to, so it's going to take time to acclimate.

Also I am way way way overdressed. People are in jeans!!!! I feel silly.

LO just stood on his own for 15 seconds! I held my hands out, in case he wanted to walk towards me, but he didn't. I'm torn between wanting him to walk, and wanting him to stay a little less mobile.

@carissalynp  Eek that sounds scary! I'm glad it wasn't a real fire.  Sorry LO's nap was disturbed, that would be very frustrating.

Thanks @meghan14 my (step) grandpa passed the week before last. He had been suffering from dementia and was on hospice for the past month so it's been a long time coming. He's in a much better place now.

DD has decided in the last few days that she needs to 'walk'... And crawling is painful (apparently). Her walking/ride on toy moves too fast for her, so she falls and gets mad. She has been pushing her high chair around, which works, but is really hard to steer. She's been pushing most of her other toys around, but crawling on her knees behind them because they are too short for her to stand. She was walking pushing a gallon of water this morning, and that worked until she got to the carpeted living room and tipped over the jug. I just figured out the tote I got to use as a toybox works well to stand behind and push while walking, so I've been letting her do that. She is growing too fast!!

Seriously, every Monday my boobs are confused. I'm hardly getting anything out of them right now. How can two days screw up my production so much?! Especially when I'm still nursing DD on the weekends.

Yes, I want it to come so badly!! I don't know if it is though and I feel like it never will. I'm going to put it on my Christmas list, I'm sure that will do the trick!
