  • Hi Ashdf I only come here to browse not post but had no idea they were so perticular but just wanted to recommend you to pink pad app. (If your not already.) The girls on there are a lot nicer than these and you can post what you please! Hope to see you there!
  • Congrats on your good news:)
  • Are you serious??
  • @ashdf , I agree.. This in an open forum.. We can post what we want and don't need "permission" from these "experts". It's just ridiculous.. And congrats to you hun!!! I'm still waiting on my panorama results..
  • Flower power5838 I'm a lurker here too btw get a life!

  • You "bump police" are truly hysterical. I suggest you get a hobby or something... Like really... Ridiculous. Who do you think you are?? Get a life.
  • @flowerpower5838 gave such a helpful, informative, kind and patient post and I'm a little surprised at the negativity she's getting. If you're not going to take her advice on board then good luck with actually getting people to care about your posts and/or reply in a thoughtful, considerate way.

  • @flowerpower5838 really wasn't rude or negative as the pp stated. It was polite and informative. Now, if y'all did do some lurking I can guarantee you will find some genuinely rude "experts" here. Have a great day everyone! :)

  • What I don't understand is... What's the problem?? If someone wants to post anything related to pregnancy, then how is it your responsibility to "discipline" that person or lecture them about so called rules and "lurking"? Are we at school here? Geez.. People are going to continue posting threads such as the ones you police dissaprove of, regardless of if you " lay down the law" to them or not, so why not focus your energy and time to threads that interest you or you "approve" of? It's a waste of time to continue lecturing people on here and just makes you look ignorant.. But hey.. Continue.. Whatever tickles your pickle.. Smh...

I really appreciate the fact that we're putting forth the effort to be polite here while you want people to grow up, quit being "ignorant", and you're also focusing your own time on arguing. The questions that you have asked are clearly answered in @flowerpower5838 statement above. I think she pretty much nicely said it all. :)
    Edited for spelling.

As @kynbar5 said above, all of your questions are answered in @flowerpower5838 posts. In addition, I find it important that new posters are redirected and informed about the board etiquette because if we have the front page clogged with gender/sex/harmony/morning sickness threads that are a dime a dozen then the posts that are genuinely pressing and important can be lost.

  • Seriously no hard feelings at all.  It does take a little time to get used to "the way of March '16" and it can be a little grating in the beginning.  You will find that we are a great community - we are very welcoming we promise.  We're a little snarky, a lot sassy.  Congrats on your healthy boy!!

@ashdf We would all love for you to stick around so we can get to know you better. Thanks for coming back - I promise no one was attacking you. For those of us that do participate regularly, the repeat posts can become a huge pet peeve so I apologize if we overreacted.

I know you said you're not on here a lot, but if you find some extra time, you should take a look at the weekly ticker change post. It's a weekly update for when you start a new week of your pregnancy. There will be a new one every week so keep an eye out for that. We also have a really random daily chat if you're looking to chat about any and everything - pregnancy related or not! Both of those posts are a great starting point if you're looking to interact more.

I hope to see you around! Again, congratulations on your negative screening and the baby boy news!

  • Does anyone know if pregnancy medicaid covers the Harmony test?
  • @smtoole86 Highly doubtful. Especially if you don't have the family medical history or are of advanced maternal age to warrant it. Even then I am not sure that would be something Medicaid would cover.

There is more than likely a number you could call to find out for sure. Or even just ask your OB. :)
