So all my weird symptoms have dropped off except for that pain in my right ovary that never went away. I've never had a cyst but that's what it feels like. From what I understand taking clomid can cause this. Still just 9dpiui (I'm counting iui#2 since that's the day I felt ovulation). I guess this month I'm really learning how meds and hcg can make you feel. So the waiting continues I don't feel AF upon me yet so guess there's still hope. Do I really have to wait the full 14 days??

Took a HPT this morning and BFN.  I am guessing I am 12 DPO but don't know for sure since I don't temp.  So I am not all the way out yet, but most likly am.

8 DPO.  Getting impatient.  Trying not to symptom spot.  Feeling kinda funky in my stomach the last couple of days.  It makes me wonder.  I'm planning on testing next week.  I would love to add getting a BFP to my list of things to be thankful for.

ladies - I'm still not out!! Its DPO15 and I avoided testing this morning, I guess I just want it so bad I am feeling sort of relaxed about the whole thing. Keep assuming I'll get AF but my temp is still steady, it's been 98.1 for the last 5 days in a row.  Getting excited.....is this the month finally??  I hope I wasn't off in my O date. I have been temping all month religiously, but around O I travelled and was in a different time zone.

@Radiantly, I have everything crossed for you.  @vballbaby, did you have a trigger for your IUI. I'm not an expert on IUI, but I think if you tested out your trigger, then you could start taking tests around 12 DPO, any earlier and you may be picking the left over hormones.  Someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

I'm at 10 DPO.  The cramping has stopped and my boobs are still sore, but my temps are still down, so I am probably out.  If I get a shot in a million big temp rise tomorrow, then I may test on Saturday.  Last time I turned a wondfo positive at 12 DPO.

@Radiantly‌ good luck that sounds promising!! @icwed yes I had the hcg shot. I did a hpt on 7dpiui and it was negative. And negative again yesterday so I guess I'm confident the shot is out. It also corresponded with my weird symptoms subsiding. Now I still have pain in my right ovary (since ovulation) and I'm 9dpiui. I haven't been temping. I only took my temp yesterday out of sheer curiosity and it was below normal (97.1). So I have no idea what that means really at this point. Just gonna hang on for the ride and keep testing daily like a crazy person

@vballbaby and @mysallygirl I am not 100% out yet.  I don't temp or OPK so I don't know exactly if and when I O'd.  I am estimating based on other signs.  I am not late for AF either. I am a 27-33 days cycle normally. My cycles have been very wonky with irregular bleeding (another full "AF" between AF) So for me, I am not out but not pregnant either.  AF Should be here the latest Monday.  I am not hopeful though.

@radiantly that sounds promising.  FX tightly for you!!!!

FF finally gave me Cross hairs for Monday! That puts me at 3DPO with FF telling me to test Monday after thanksgiving @ 14DPO. I'll probably test Thanksgiving day since we'll be out of town visiting the inlaws and there is always lots of wine involved.

Today my temp plummeted, at DPO 11 and I've got all the pms feelings, AF is due this weekend so I'd guess I'm out,

Interesting aside...I took my temp out of curiosity about four hours after I got up and it was exactly the same temp as when I first woke this am...to the hundredths...weird! I'd even been horseback riding in the cold and to the dentist. I'm fascinated by the whole temp thing so I just thought it was interesting!

Mine has gone up a little bit from waking up, going to the bathroom, and back to sleep for an hour. It's weird how that works.

Anyone else having a glass of wine? I've taken 3 sips and I feel guilty. I started reading how it's mostly ok during tww and ttc to have a glass of wine but I was reading a drs article on a fertility site and he said not to drink during luteal phase since this is when implantation occurs. Thoughts?

@vballbaby  i think there are multiple viewpoints on this. Some girls on here say "drink till it's pink" and some folks swear off alcohol starting from the time they are starting TTC until baby is born. My doc told me that it isn't a big deal to have some drinks while TTC just don't get drunk/wasted.

Personally - I've continued to drink in moderation until 7DPO and then I typically don't drink until I test or AF shows up. Since I'll only be 10DPO on Thanksgiving, I'll likely test in the morning and then assuming it is negative have a glass of wine with dinner so no one gets suspicious. If it's positive at that point I'll probably have DH pour me a glass of wine and let him drink it over the course of the dinner so hopefully no one notices.

So sorry @Radiantly.  I know how you feel...

Negative HPT this morning.  Still had to go in for a beta - which I find so dumb, and am even more pissed off about after the lab tech said "Oh, you're here for a pregnancy test.  Are you pregnant?" with a big perky smile. And that was all it took for me to start sobbing.  She asked me questions about how long I've been trying with my RE, etc and all I could do was shake my head.  I know it's my first medicated cycle, but I'm just so frustrated with how this whole process has gone overall - it took four months to even GET to my first medicated cycle!  UGH!!! I'm not even looking forward to my birthday in a few weeks (I usually LOVE December and my birthday and Christmas), because it's just another milestone I'd hoped for - pregnant by the time I turn 40 - that won't happen.  God, total whine fest going on here.  I'm annoying MYSELF!  Sorry everyone....

I don't go crazy with the drinking during the 2WW, but I don't abstain either.  I figure that this has the potential to be a very long haul, and it's easier for me to deal with the disappointment when it doesn't happen if I don't feel like I've been putting my life on hold.

Also, FWIW, I had a couple of glasses of wine during the 2WW I tested positive with DD.

@heath&jas I am so sorry you are going through this.  People need to have more discretion.  I hate it when I stock up on the store brand HPT I get the "good luck."  It is just a punch in the gut.  How about not saying anything at all and do your friggin job and just check me out.  You don't need to get all into my reproductive system business.

November has been a really crappy month around here.  December has got to be better!

@Heath&Jas, I felt exactly the same way when I realized I wasn't going to get pregnant before I turned 40.  It seems silly, but it does sting.  Hugs.

I've gotten permission from my RE not to go in for betas unless I have a bfp on an hpt.  The understanding is that if AF doesn't materialize in a timely fashion, I go in to get checked out.  Otherwise, I just report on CD3 for bloodwork.  Betas after a negative hpt are a lot of inconvenience and heartache (and a stupid long drive, in my case) just to confirm what you already knew.  You might ask if your RE can be flexible about this.  Good luck!

@Radiantly I am so sorry.  I was really hoping this was your BFP.

@Heath&Jas  That's a tough one.   When I had my appointment to discuss what the options where for my MMC and the nurse asked why I was here today, it took 5 minutes to blubber my way through that explanation.  Sometimes I think there should be highlighted notes on the chart for sensitive things like that.

11DPO.  My temp went back up this morning, but I woke up several times in the night.  Boobs still hurt, but that's about it.  If it stays high, I will probably test on Sunday.

@Radiantly I'm sorry I wanted to tell you my friend's story, she had endometriosis, had two surgeries to remove it and both her tubes (they were gone) and she got prego on 3rd round of IVF and just had a baby! She went through a lot in two years so don't give up hope!! Her first one didn't work, 2nd one ended in early MC, and third one (where she had the fewest eggs, 2 or 3 I think) was the one that worked. @Heath&Jas I'm 42 so I feel ya. I'm sorry it didn't work for you this time.

Also...I almost never get cramps at all and when I do it's pretty mild...then last night middle of the night they woke me up they were so bad...damn AF can't just come and go, she has to announce her presence with all that nonsense?!? Oh how I hate her.

@vballbaby‌ I have a glass of wine almost every night, I cut back in the 2WW, but am definitely more in the drink til it's pink camp. My doc is pretty liberal about it, so I go with it. I'm thinking of cutting it out next cycle tho, if I'm not KU, just to mix things up, ha!

Thanks everyone.  I'm feeling a bit better after speaking with the REs nurse.  She told me we were going to do the same medication protocol next cycle.  I told her that while I'm happy my RE is conservative because I don't want a litter of babies, I do feel that at 39.9 years of age, we should be shooting for more than one mature follicle in a cycle.  She agreed and felt that we could consider adding in a few days of injects after my day 10 ultrasound and that might help more than one mature.  She also just read a study that showed Femara had over double the success rate (for ovulation) for higher BMI women than Clomid (this in answer to my question of whether we should just use Clomid again even though it thinned my lining - heck, it gave me my daughter!).  So, that also put my mind at ease that we were going down the right track.  Hopefully next cycle.

Bored tonight, how's everyone feeling? I tested again today with a negative, I know it is still early but I couldn't resist! (I'm at 10DPIUI) Now that the shot is out of my system, I have been pain free for two days now (right ovary no longer hurts). No preg symptoms but I did just down a good amount of cheese and crackers and then got into my husbands chicken buffalo dip....feeling hungry, typical of pms for me. A little depressed too because I really haven't had the energy to work out all this month so I've gained a few lbs. I've got to get back to my exercise routine! But I did decide to get my roots done today even though I was trying to hold out. My grey hairs were just getting too ridiculous so that was bringing me down too. If I do get a BFP I won't get my hair done again until 1st tri is over. Well...those are my thoughts for tonight!
oh p.s. I did have a temp spike today went from 97.1 to 98.9....don't really know the significance since I've only been temping for 2 days but at least I'm getting the ball rolling, lol. I know the increase could just be AF.
