We went out at five like cool kids. We're taking it slow and spacing out drinks and food. Awaiting some quesadillas. We're having a nice time. I always love going out with DH alone.

We got back from dinner. Reese passed out. 

We went to Applebees. The waitress came to take our order and Reese ordered herself! She said she wanted French Onion Soup, just the broth. (No cheese or bread)

I was impressed. 

Now, we are watching Groundhog day and eating Halloween candy

I passed out last night at 7 pm and slept through til 6:30. I felt like a new woman.Went to Michaels and bought all the Christmas things. The cashier said "That will be $300" and I almost died, DH was shooting daggers at me with his eyeballs. Then she says "Actually, the sales come off at the end. Sorry! That will be (corrected price)". $-)

I'm pinteresting also @ctgirl30. I'm mostly looking at Christmas crafts for the kids, but I did find an idea for painted pine cone Thanksgiving place card holders. It's only the 5 of us for dinner, but I think the kids will have fun with it.

Having myself a refreshing Mule again before we head across the street for a birthday party for Sammies lil boyfriend. He is two also. She already went over in the bounce house for a bit, but I had to pull her out because her asthma started up and she had no nap. Now its dark so no more bounce house.
Its a nighttime party for him and his huge family and I feel a little awkward going, but I don't want to seem rude because they have come over 3x to see if we are coming over. I drive the 2 younger girls to school in the morning and the mom if the 2 year old is 17 and comes over to earn money doing odd chores for me when I can afford it. They are a great family and super nice, but when they have family parties most of it is in Spanish, and I feel weird... Need to learn Spanish!

@ctgirl30 We're also going to do thankful pumpkins from pinterest. Paint one large pumpkin or mini ones for each person. Then everyone writes on the pumpkin what they are thankful for.

I have a large roll of white paper to cut tablecloths from. I set it out in the morning and let the kids draw holiday pictures all over it. Last year they drew the balloons while watching the parade.

So, WWPD?

DD was upset and I pulled her blanket and monkey (security items) out of the dryer and she settled and is asleep now.

But as I put her in the crib I realized the blanket is still slightly damp. The monkey likely is too. It doesn't even feel wet so much as cool and stiff.

Should I try to remove them to finish drying? Wait and try later? Say fuck it and rewash in the morning?

Think I'm developing social anxiety. This is the second time I've had an anxiety attack after being around a lot of people. Feel like my core is shaking.

Going to have some wine to try and calm down. Ideally Squeaker will crash out soon too. I have much cleaning to do before DS comes home tomorrow and I don't know if I'll be up for anything in the morning.

Finally heading home after a crazy busy day. Our 1st dance song just came on the radio & DH is giving me the sex me eye....sorry buddy. The only thing I wanna get into tonight is my bed!

I did start taking Zoloft again though, could that be it? Has anyone experienced that before? I know Zoloft is supposed to be the safest but I took it before and didn't like it, and it has the most side effects of all SSRIs. Paxil is the next best option according to Dr Sears.

I had to switch recently because I felt like my body stopped responding to the one I had been using. Never had that problem before. No clue why it happened. I noticed it at the end of pregnancy and assumed it was related to that but it continued even after the baby was here (and I had stopped breast feeding). I bought a clinical strength deodorant and it's been fine since.

I used to use clinical strength but it gave my skin this weird build up and I would have to scrub really in the shower to get it off. Maybe I'll try a different brand.

So I received a get well card in the mail today from my mom. She found out from a nurse she's friends with that I was hospitalized last month. She wants to talk and possibly get together for the holidays. She's hurt that she's uninformed and can't help her ill child. LOL  All I want for Christmas is a guilt trip and more emotional damage to my children. I think we'll pass.

I'm not upset, more amused, but I do wonder if she'll ever accept that she's completely cut out of our life. For anyone with estranged family members, do they just keep trying? I assume it will taper off over time.

Wow, major HIPAA violation on the nurse's part @klondikebar‌! I don't have experience with long term estrangement but I personally would think ignoring would be the best route. One day she will get the hint. Or she won't, just keep ignoring. I'm sorry that you even have to worry about it, but you're doing the right think by keeping your kids away from her influence.

DS has spent all afternoon asking to sit on the potty. Successful peeing- yay! But he keeps asking to go poop, sits and then farts and says "all done". Like every 2 minutes. I don't want to ignore and backtrack. But omg

DS did this too, with the farts & "all done" every other minute with me cheering him on every time. Then I figured out he doesn't want me watching him or looking at him while he poops. He wants me where he can see me, but not at all focused on him & he'll go every time.

Just an idea, good luck! Potty training sucks

The nurse is a really good person. I'm thinking it wasn't intentional and I don't think she's aware of our estrangement. I'm guessing it wan an innocent comment that started it. My mom is good at fishing for info too. I'm not worried about that though. Thanks for the reassurances. She doesn't upset me anymore, but I'd prefer for her to not contact me and not think about her, kwim?
