Day 5- I am thankful my husband has a heart like mine. Every once in awhile I will find a cause that touches my heart. They are usually pit bull or mental health/addiction related because they are special to us for many reasons.
All I have to do is send DH a text to the link and ask him if he wants to donate a couple bucks from our joint account. He has never said no or even questioned it. He happily signs into our pay pal account and donates.
Last night we donated to one of the Pit Bull rescues that I have been following on Facebook for years. We never donate a lot because we don't have a ton to give away, but we give what we can.
I am thankful for my close friends. I only have a handful that I'm really close to, but it's great to get their texts, emails and calls asking how hubby and I are doing (nobody is asking if baby has come yet, just how we're holding up, and that they are excited).
I'm determined to keep in touch with my close friends once baby arrives, even though most live hours away, and not turn into one of those moms who falls off the face of the earth and can't even have friends over for pizza.
@StacyMarie33 - this picture is beautiful. I love it! This is exactly how I picture mine to act as well. You definitely need to save this pic for your son. He will appreciate it when he's older!
I'm thankful for my best friends who are always there to back me up. I have a very close circle who I fully open up to and it's so nice that they are there when I need them.
4. I am thankful for my midwives who I saw yesterday. I feel confident in their care and it takes such a load off my mind.
5. I am thankful for my friend Lily who is visiting this week from Berlin. Its so nice to have her around. I missed her. We've had some great talks and she's a great excuse to go to some of our favorite restaurants and book stores. And since she's jet-lagged I can feel free to have afternoon nap-times. And she loves my pup.

I feel like this is cheating a little but... I'm thankful we have a good Thai food restaurant around. I got my fix today, got to share it with my mom (who now loves them), and maybe got it a little spicier than normal to see if I could make and OWT work for me
Day 5: today I'm thankful LO stayed in there another day so I could finish signing out my work projects. Now she really can come any day she wants!!
Day 4 (missed it yesterday because I was uncontrollably shaking for about an hour.. Called OB, he says "could be the start of labor"... It wasn't...) but, thankful for my moms homemade pan fried chicken.... Amazing and perfect now that the weather is getting cold
