This is a check-in for anyone who had a loss or an EDD in May (of any year). I am so sorry for each one of your losses. I hope that this can be a place to give support and help each other through this difficult time.

Members, give us an update on how you are doing. If I didn’t tag you with specific questions, it’s only because we didn’t hear from you last week (or for a few weeks) - please jump back in. Please pop in and let us know how you’re doing even if you don’t have time to respond to everyone individually this week! New members, introduce yourself so that we can get to know you.

Hello ladies! I will do my best to be a good checkin leader. I'm sorry for the crazy formatting this week. I will have it fixed next week.
TTCALR We are planning our first IVF cycle and I thought I would be starting this week but I got pushed back a month so for now we wait.
Non TTCALR it's the time of year to use up vacation time so no more working Fridays for me this year! I'm pumped \:D/

Eta I forgot my own QOTW! Black Friday = decorate outside and all non tree related decorating inside for me. The next weekend we usually get our tree

TTCALR - I had my D&C yesterday for a small piece of retained placenta, almost exactly a month after we discovered our MMC.  It was much better than I had anticipated.  I've had very little bleeding and almost no cramping.  I go back in 2 weeks for a  follow-up and am hoping and praying that we can burn the bench.  I'm frustrated and disappointed that this process has taken so long.  Honestly, I'm not so focused on TTC immediately, but just to be able to have normal sex again.  I just want to have sex with DH again whenever we want.  We have very little chance of actually getting pregnant by the end of the year, so I've just accepted that right now we just need to get through this and get back to normal.

NTTCAL - Nothing much.  Trying to get a lot of things wrapped up at work before we complete a software conversion.  Looking forward to the holidays but I'm also trying to lose weight, so I can't over do it  with all the food.  I'm thinking about joining a gym.  Oh!  Also, my chiropractor has been out of work for a while and she comes back next week.  I'm SO excited to see her again.  Her replacement sucked!!

QOTW - We usually decorate around Thanksgiving.  Although, at work we did Halloween decorations and I've really enjoyed having my cube dressed up.  I'm thinking about going out this week and decorating my cube for Christmas!

I'm doing ok. AF showed up last week. Ugh - frustrating. I met a friend for coffee on Saturday. We skipped the coffee and just had cocktails I have a girl's night out this Friday, meaning we will be drinking a little, I mean a lot. Ha

I threatened to quit (I already started looking for a new job). My company will give me a raise starting 01 December, but it's a hush hush thing. The actual promotion won't be until March. It's a compromise I can live with though.

I'm glad the d&c went well, take it easy this week while you heal. Hopefully you'll be cleared in 2 wks to at least be normal again. I'm trying to lose weight too - it's not an ideal time of year to attempt it that's for sure!

Hi everybody! I posted a little bit about myself last week, but I'm not sure if justanotherphotographer got a chance to add me to the list. My EDD was 5-23-15.

TTCALR- My D&C that was scheduled yesterday had to be rescheduled due to some big insurance screw up. I have a tentative surgery scheduled on Thursday. But I'm spotting again today, so maybe my body will do this on it's own (I'm not really to hopeful about that). I just feel like this whole situation is never-ending. I still haven't had a chance to ask my OB when we will be able to start TTC again

NTTCALR: My DH has been in MN for the past month (we are in the process of relocating, but we wanted to make sure the job was a good fit before we completely moved up there). And he's pretty sure he found the perfect place for us to rent. It opens up the end of November, so I could possibly be living with my husband again right after thanksgiving! I am beyond excited about this!

QOTD: We always decorate on Black Friday, in the evening. But I am that person who gets the urge to decorate before that. I really have to fight the urge

@Elsiemae - I'm so sorry your D&C got rescheduled.  I absolutely know how you feel about it feeling unending.  But it does end eventually, somehow.  I hope your D&C goes smoothly.  Of course talk to your own doctor, but my doctor has approved unprotected sex after my 2 week checkup.  Now, whether or not I'll ovulate or get AF again soon...

@cavewmn - I'm sorry you're feeling down.  Sometimes the cheeriness of the season doesn't agree with how we want to feel.  I've definitely been enjoying wine more often than I normally do since I've been feeling so blah.  Do whatever you feel like doing!!

And that is only because I wanted something to decorate since my husband's mom is coming out for Thanksgiving. We already got our yearly ornament. Besides that I don't plan to decorate this year. So on TTCALR stuff...
With all the insurance crap I'm just trying to take it easy.  We've decided that we will reassess the situation in March and see how much money we have to go towards testing and treatment then, but until then while we are still trying, I'm trying not to push it as much and stress about it as much.
It's an incredibly busy part of the year anyway.  I'm also trying to maintain a positive attitude.  Easier said than done, I know!

NTTCALR stuff..
Not much to share here right now.  I can't get my brain to really focus on any one thing.  I'm thinking of all the things I need to do before the holidays.  Stressing about Thanksgiving, which I am looking forward to but also dreading because of my BIL and his girlfriend coming.  Last time we saw them was a very bad experience. 

QOTW: As soon as everyone leaves our house on Thanksgiving, we pull out the Lego Winter village sets and put them together.  There are 6 altogether, but so far we only have three.

Then on Friday I decorate the inside of the house while my husband works.  He's a stagehand and works on Washington Ballet's Nutcracker each year, so once he gets home from a show we set up the tree and decorate it.  Then that weekend we decorate outside! 
We've got it down to a science now!

I wish that picture was mine!  But last year we only had one set, the Toy shop.  This year we managed to buy the Winter carnival and the Post Office.  Still have the Bakery, the Cottage, and Santa's Workshop which is new this year to get!
Unfortunately the winter village sets discontinue after two years on the market, so everything but the workshop and the carnival are much more expensive than they were originally sold for. 
I love them though.  I've always enjoyed the look the ceramic villages and always wanted a set.  But most of those have been out for so many years, the idea of ever catching up was so daunting.  So because my husband is a huge lego fan we decided to start collecting these!
A much more fun tradition I think!

   I just wanted to let you knwo I changed my name on here.   I was 26 summer but many people on the Nest knew me as that so I've changed to this (you can change my name on the EDD thread to King26)  I now have my info in my siggy.

I got my first positive on an OPK since my m/c so that's a positive!   I had off work today so my husband and I were busy :-)  I'm so ready for my RE appointment but it's not until December.  Initially I thought I didn't want to do any treatment again until January but now I kind of want to do treatment again ASAP.  I think we'll end up trying one or 2 IUI's this winter and gear up for another IVF cycle in April if they don't work out.


@km380 I'm sorry you have to delay your IVF cycle.  Mine was delayed 4 weeks this summer because I had to have polyps in my uterus removed.  It sucks, but in the end I'm glad they did it.

@scout336 I'm glad your D&C went well

Ha forgot to do TTCALR.

AFM: AF showed up. Made me feel like I was back in High school. Most painful ever.

Hotel trip is canceled. Husband's work is at half force and his back up isn't reliable,

she is the one I TP almost daily. 

We are getting back into the groove of things in the bedroom. Started temping yesterday. 

Which now I keep waking up before I should. Hopefully when I get use to it I will wake up 

when I am suppose to and not different times before. 

NTTCALR:

I stress about everything. So not only do I not feel like decorating, I don't want the stress 

of decorating. We will be going to his parents on Christmas. Hoping I turn a corner soon.

Was this the first AF after your loss? I know for me mine were very painful for a few months post loss and my dr told me that was normal. It got better though. (((Hugs)))

TTCAL related I'm doing ok. Had a rough day yesterday, feeling more positive today. Potential interesting update for me is that FF thinks I O'd by temps and CM. I didn't do OPKs this month of TTA so who knows. If that plays out it would be nothing short of a miracle. I rarely ovulate without meds.

NTTCALR I'm still staying busy at work, which helps, but really enjoying the new job. MH and I just started house hunting, which is pretty exciting. Gives me something else to focus on. We recently moved and are renting until we find our dream house.

And I don't mind at all. I'm an open book! When I went for my bw and us last week it showed a small cyst on my right ovary. Stupid ovary needs to get its shit straight! So not ideal for stims so he pushed it. Instead of bcp I will do some sort of patch after ovulation this month. Hopefully I'll be good to go after the next AF

@Menrandes‌ I just bought Santa's Workshop and the winter village market. Got both for $180. I checked out the retired ones...omg...starts around $200 each. Do you also have the extra things like a tree stand, etc. those are cheaper under $30 because they are extras I guess.

@Giants721 Yep, the winter village market is the one that came out last year!  It has the carousel in it.  The only other one that is at original price is the santa's workshop that came out this year.  Yeah, they get pretty pricy.  I recommend checking out Bricklink.com for sets that are discontinued.  We got the most expensive one for 170.  Not cheap, but so much less than ebay and amazon are selling it for.  We bought it used but put it together when we got it, and every piece was accounted for.  So you bought them huh?  Awesome!  I don't have any of the extra stuff. There is a giant tree in the toy shop set, and I love that. But I am thinking of getting the advent calendar this year which has extra stuff.

Im just here in good old limbo, its been 4 weeks since D&C and no sight of AF. I tested last week and got a negative for HCG. Since I have a POAS problem I'm sure i will be testing tomorrow because i *think* i ovulated the 26 of october.

Not being tracked at all my OB sucks!!! Thats why i tested last week, this sucks!
