Hi, just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking a little, but am honestly very new to the 'loss' forum. I just found out I had a missed miscarriage - I thought I was 14 weeks but the baby had stopped growing at 10 weeks. We had just told all of our friends and family the weekend before, and when I started bleeding it was very light pink/brown and the dr acted like I shouldn't be worried… so we weren't prepared at all for the loss. Not that you ever are… but it was just so heartbreaking. I had my d&c yesterday and am pretty sore today, just trying to cope. Everyone has been so supportive but I just feel like none of my friends really understand, and a lot of them have healthy babies/pregnancies and I'm honestly (and guiltily) a little … ok a lot… jealous. So I'm devastated and going through the emotional roller coaster, with lots of crying, and sometimes just pure numbness. But this was our first pregnancy and we both want to start TTC as soon as possible when the dr gives the ok, and we're optimistic (but also a little more hesitant) that we'll have a healthy pregnancy.
