If you don't post pictures, why don't you?

There are some people who never post pictures of themselves, and I'm just curious about why. When I do it, I don't include my face because I'm afraid of creepers or other people recognizing me, but I still like to participate in HDBD and things like that. What are your reasons?

I don't often participate in HDBD because I don't have a full length mirror and usually I'm running out the door so I don't have time for DH to take a picture for me (or he isn't here).

Other times I'm self conscious about my appearance.

At first i was massive when you all had no bumps... And now my arm kinda isnt long enough to get the bump in lol but i have posted a few on the facebook page

I post pictures every week. Sometimes I don't show my face because I'm feeling lazy and don't wanna put on makeup or brush my hair.

Wednesdays I am babysitting and my phone won't upload pics. It's too late by the time I get home. So I changed my profile pic to a bump pic. I love seeing all the bumps!

I posted once on HDBD, but honestly I'm very self conscious! Plus privacy too. I won't post pics of kiddos because no privacy settings

And I do post pics. I had my H and I as my siggy pic for quite awhile. I only took it out because I got bored and wanted a new siggy.  But I've posted pics of us/belly pics. I don't really do the HDBD because of my situation (firstly, there's no full length mirror directly in my room and I'm allowed like 1-2 showers a week, so no thanks on pics).  I don't post a TON of pics, but I do post some. I keep it to a limit?  I'll probably have a Zoe pic in my siggy, I'm not against sharing small amounts.

If anyone needs tips on how to pull off baggy shift dresses and blazers I'm your gal!
Once my contract is settled in a few weeks I'll be able to be more open. I was supposed to have it at the end of summer but its taken a lot longer.

I'm technologically challenged, severely. I claim this is why I married a computer genius.

I also have, what I like to refer to as, a "Chandler smile". I take great natural pictures; try and have me pose, it's all over.

I dont post a lot of pictures because I dont fee like I look much different from week to week.  So its been about 1 pic a trimester.  Also, I usually forget about HDBD until thursday, and then I feel like a dweeb posting late.

i'm a SS.  it's partly that i don't want tons of pix of myself all over teh interwebz, and partly because i'm lazy and it's too much work to take a pic, transfer it to my computer, upload it to photobucket, and then put it here.  lol

Mostly I don't post pics due to privacy concerns, especially after the "Newb in town" catfish incident on the July 2014 Moms board. Some people are cray-cray!

I had a fat pre-baby belly and Im tall and have a super long torso but it's really starting to get round now. I'm banking on the fact that people aren't sure whether fat women are pregnant or not, so far so good.

I posted pics in HDBD back when I had my iPhone but didn't post my face bc I would die of embarrassment if someone recognized me. That and how much I complain about my inlaws. :P

I post pics from time to time. I always forget about HDBD and just am not big on bump photos of myself in general.

So many reasons! I'm partly technologically challenged. I can only use my phone to be on here. I have always been a little self conscious of how I look and up until last week I didn't have a bump. I'd take a picture and I just looked a little plump (which I am) so I would delete it! I also haven't told everyone at work yet but I will with my costume tomorrow (skeleton baby)

I have to pick SS-- I SOMETIMES post pictures.  WHEN I decide it's worth the effort to take a picture on my regular camera, upload it to my laptop (which is super old and slow and for some reason crashes anytime I try to access internet stuffs from it-- even after reformatting), take it from my laptop to a jump drive, then put it onto the computer that actually can access the internet (but doesn't have a place to put the memory card for the camera).

A combination of reasons...partly privacy, partly because I have an issue posting pics from my phone so it requires a few extra steps, partly because I'm lazy, partly because I forget, and partly because I'm self-conscious. I did post a couple on PGAL

I don't because I feel like everyone on here makes such a huge deal about it. Who are you? Why don't you comment all the time? What are you doing on here if you aren't constantly participating in posts? I feel like I see something like this on here all the time. Why does it even concern you why? Why is that important your pregnancy or to someone else's?
Baby center has a great blog and questions forum. I've never seen any such thing on there and I feel like the lack of pressure to be constantly in deep detail of everyone's shit is way more helpful. I think it's great that people have formed social media friendships thru this source and I find comfort that some women are goingg thru similar situations but Jesus Christ. This birth club is ridiculous. Not that it effects anyone in any kind of way, just saying this is my last comment and I will not be checking this birth club anymore.

I'm sure you are all beautiful! It would be nice to see some more faces though. I like to see faces because it makes you more 'real' instead of just an avatar. (I hope that made sense. )
