CPW: Halloween candy quality control

Do you do quality control on the candy you hand out to trick or treaters?

We buy Halloween candy early in October (so we don't forget, you know.) Then we are quality-control sampling throughout the month--sometimes to the extent that at the end of the month, we need to go buy more so there is enough for the trick-or-treaters!

Generally, yes. This year, we have Tootsie Pops that MIL gave us. I hate those, so they're safe.

@greenbunny79 You can come to my house this year, we've got the Reese's cups and Butterfingers.

I normally sample the heck out of it but not this year since I can't have dairy. I can only imagine how many of the bars I would have eaten by now.

I said that we do, but this year we are handing out bags of popcorn and pretzels because allergy-friendly house. 

I did, however, buy mine and DH's favorite for us to enjoy after the kids are in bed while we hand out candy They are hidden in the pantry for safe keeping!

It's a 1:1 ratio... one for me, one for the kids. We don't get many trick or treaters and it looks like the weather is going to be terrible here so I expect more for me

Slightly more tolerable than a snickers bar. But I'll eat almost anything that has ice cream in the title!
