 It's rainy but "warm" here today and I don't feel like going anywhere. We will hit the library to return books but other than that, we are staying home! 

 I am officially DONE with breastfeeding. I cannot believe we made it just over 2 years. That was never the plan, but that's how it worked out. Weaning went easier than I thought, but we had a couple of late nights. We finally got a couple of naps which I am relieved for those! I'm happy we are done and I get a 6 month break before starting all over again!!

We joined the Y and I've been going to an exercise class twice a week on top of doing piyo at home. The class has mostly older ladies in there, but it still kicks my butt. There are some ladies in there that can really work! I hope I'm still working out like that when I'm older!

I got my first flu shot. I feel like i deserve a sticker. I will get one for dd this year as well. Just felt like it was the right thing to do with being pregnant and having a newborn the end of flu season. I still have this crazy underlying distrust of the flu shot and I'm waiting for something to happen to me any second even though I know it's fine and major side effects are so rare.

Both the boys in my life are sick.  DS had/has an ear infection and horrible cold, been sick for 2 weeks.  Of course, DH caught his cold.  I can feel it coming on.  Damn daycare.  He's only been going since mid September and has been sick, sick, sick.  I guess better now than when he starts school.

DD2 is kicking my butt right now, she was sleeping really well (10pm-4am then going back to sleep until 7 or 8am), but the past two weeks she's been taking 2 hours to fall asleep and then is up every one to two hours all night long. I am losing it. DH sleeps thru everything and wakes up all chipper at 6am. I wish she was old enough to sleep train because I don't know what else to do.

Speaking of the gym I saw Cruelle Deville there yesterday. No joke. The woman had to have been 60+. Wearing a short black shirt, black pantyhose, a black tshirt with purple writing, black scarf and blinding white tennis shoes. I thought she was a bit dolled up for the gym. Then she changed into her street shoes. Yeah stilleto knee high black boots. The comes the jacket. Black and white fur. To top if off her hair was white. She was like a car crash I couldn't look away from.

@MrsKipper I can't even imagine. I've never had either. I hope I don't. Feel better!

I got DS 3 pairs of shoes from a women on a BST site last night. 2 pairs of Keen sandals and a pair of UGG boots. $50! S-c-o-r-e!!!

Bad news: Now that, plus a showing at our house tonight (no showings since August and of course, they scheduled one yesterday) means my full plate from yesterday just got fuller. #fwp

I woke up yesterday with a red bump on my neck. I thought it was apimple so I tried to pop it. No such luck. It's there today and only bigger so I put makeup on it. Now I'm irrationally nervous its skin cancer. I googled it. Now I'm really scared!

@Pokedot go to a dermatologist if you really think it's a problem. I've had skin cancer and it's not something to be taken lightly. I have full body skin checks every 3 months. I actually have one today. Really looking forward to showing off my postpartum body to my doctor. Oh well, she's seen it before.

The water in our fridge stopped working, the GE guy was just here to fix it. Before he even looked at it (ice works, water doesn't), he said the water line was frozen. GE designed a little heater to install and fix this problem. About 10 minutes and $258 later, I feel like if GE knows this is a problem, it should be recalled and fixed for free. Grr.

@hmp1 that drives me crazy. Same thing happened with our Kenmore (no heater required though). I called when it quit dispensing, but about 4 hours later it started working again. I kept the appointment that was 1 week away because we had another issue. The repair guy said we were keeping the temp. too cold. Go figure!

I was wondering if just turning up the temp in the freezer would fix the issue.

I will definately keep an eye on it. I was pretty careful about the sun this summer so to wake up with this thing yesterday it took me off guard. I've been tanning a couple times a week for vacation. Since we're goign to Mexico I don't want to get burned. That in itself made me nervous.

Prospective client I've been working with for 1.5 years (a ridiculous amt of time for my product) wanted to schedule a call.  I said I'm very flexible 9-5; he asks if I can flex outside of those hours.  I tell him I can flex 5am-7pm; he requests 8:30pm.  No bro that's close to my bedtime.  So he agrees to 9am today. 

Finally calls 20 min late.  Call lasted 9:20am-1:10pm.  I finally had to end it, they were going in circles. 

What is your best price?  Our prices are firm.  What can we do to make the equipment more affordable?  Our prices are firm.  Can you give us a deal?  Our prices are firm.  What if we xyz (some fannagled scheme)?  Our prices are firm.  "We just can't afford those prices."  Cool, then don't buy the equipment.  The price has been the price for the last 1.5 years, this is not new news.  **PULLS HAIR OUT**

So your pregly self didn't have to use the restroom in that amount of time? I'm without child and I would of had to go at least 2x in that timeframe.

OK - I don't always like to vent much on here, but I'm a little annoyed at the moment.

I offered to help host a baby shower for a really good friend.  Two friends were already running with the planning, so I am just helping out as much as they need.  We needed a space close to where I live (these ladies live an hour away), so I offered to rent the room at my apartment complex.  I was told there are about 35 ladies on the invite.  I comfortably hosted about 35 people for Aedan's birthday there, so it felt like it would work.

Today, I get an email saying that the guest list is now up to 55 people and asking me if I think there will be enough room?  BUT...the invites have already been sent.  So, what can we even do about it?  I'm a little confused that we're just now questioning the size of the room, after the invites were sent.

So, yeah, I'm a little worried if 55 people show up that there won't be enough room.  But why didn't anyone ask the question earlier.  Both of the hostesses attended Aedan's birthday party and know that it isn't a huge space.  

I love these ladies, honestly, and have known them forever, I'm just so confused.  And the party is in 4 weeks.

For a while he was only having one every 10 days - 2 weeks. The vet said that was good, he was doing well, acting normal etc. they'd been getting more frequent, but they go through a pattern of being infrequent, then one or 2 a day, then back to infrequent. Well, the last couple of nights he's been acting off, but last night he was having near constant little seizures. This morning he's the same. He can't control his bladder, DH had to pick him up and carry him outside to go to the bathroom this morning, he is struggling to stand, he can't walk. His breathing is erratic and he's so, so miserable. We are just waiting for the vet clinic to open and we are taking him in. I know that the decision has been made for us now. Looks like we are saying goodbye to our buddy today.

((hugs))  I'm so sorry.  Losing a pet is so hard and I'm so not ready to deal with this (someday) with our pups.
