Happy Tuesday ladies!

I bought a groupon for prenatal yoga classes. I'm hoping the yoga will help these annoying all day leg cramps. Anyone flying around Thanksgiving? I'm flying from ny to ca and although I'm sure I'll be fine, I'm feeling a little anxious about it. I will be that lady pacing/waddling about, that I've cursed at silently in my head many times before.

@musicgirl524 Thanks The vet said she handles anesthesia really well (she had to be gassed her last two appts to drain the lump) so she sounded pretty positive about how she'll handle the surgery.

Who are you people with the shopping for LO bug... I cant bring myself around to buying anything. Do date I have purchased... the Steelers/Ravens onesie we used for a photo op, and a PBK blanket I got from Chicken. I have no desire to buy baby stuff right now. I almost feel like Im jinxing the pregnancy if I do... Am I broken?

20 years?! Omg that's crazy amazing! I was with my last family for five years and leaving then when they started school full time was incredibly hard. Hugs to you!

I started when they were 4 wks old I would have to have more than one child because of income. Hoping I can find something 4 days/WK. Def less hours!! I'm here 11. Too long when baby comes! Sounds like you have a good plan!

@jaztastic‌ you and my husband are one in the same. He FTFO when I mention wanting to buy anything, he's worried that something may happen and then I won't be able to handle looking at the baby stuff. He didn't even let me buy bottles for DS, his BFF went out and bought them for us.

@jaztastic That sounds really normal to me. For a while I felt the same way, even to the point of being afraid to erase the date and time of my first OB appt off the white board from when I had scheduled it months ago. I still can't bring myself to throw away the positive pregnancy test I got from the clinic (TMI? lol). Now I'm just not buying stuff because every time I mentioned anything to my family they got mad at me because I wasn't waiting to get all my shower gifts, lol.

No. I've bought a lot but all used or have been given. I haven't bought one new thing other than the crib for baby. I honestly have no desire to shop.

@jaztastic‌ I feel the same way. I did buy a few things at baby gap, but admittedly, put them in a chest, out of sight.

Ladies, I am gonna spam it up now that I am back at work and done with doctor appointments for the next 2 weeks (I hope!) I had my follow up with my OB today after my day in L&D yesterday. I had an u/s and got wonderful photos of my sweet girl! To my SHOCK she had flipped head down and now I have to get real about deciding to have a vbac or not. She is VERY low, which explains so much of my problems, and likely my irritated cervix, but looked perfect! I am feeling so relieved.

I go back in 2 weeks for my 28 appt as scheduled, and then we'll start weekly appointments. She wants to keep a close eye on my placenta due to my bleeding. Such great news though!

Thats so crazy... My DH is getting frustrated with me because he wants to shop. I want to look at all the baby stuff, I want to register for all the baby stuff... I just dont want to buy it yet. I keep telling myself that Im waiting for the shower(s) but I dont think thats it.

I do.  The university I work for gives 10 hours bi weekly, 6 annual and 4 sick, so it actually builds up really quickly.  I could have had more, but we took a vacation the week I got my BFP, and I had 1 week long hospitalization.

Guilty LO shopper here! @jaztastic‌ - maybe it's because I'm a FTM and haven't had any little ones to buy for in years, literally years. The youngest in our family is 13. I admit, without guilt, that I've spend about $150 on clothes and misc. baby gear. My mother has probably spent about the same. I vowed not to buy anything else unless it was a clearance deal I couldn't pass up... But those baby headbands all over Etsy are tempting me... Did I mention that I also MAY be a shopohlic? I should stay away from the big baby gear though... I agree with @Irishcurls‌

@jaztastic I don't think it's abnormal to feel that way at all. There really isn't a rush, especially if you are having a shower. I haven't bought anything because we have almost everything from DS. But I also have done anything to prepare for this baby. Everything is still put away. I think I'm in denial about having another baby.

I have the bug. But being pgal makes it hadd. The only reason i do is i plan on quiting my job so I want everything.I will need before the baby gets here.

also found out a teacher at my school is 8 weeks pregnant. I tild her congrats. im really hoping her pregnancy works out. i say this because of her announcing it so early and so publicly at a school.


and thanks for all the support guys. today is just not a good day for me.

@jaztastic‌ I feel the same way! Not that I will necessarily jinx it but that it's just not close enough yet... I even debated just going to buy the carseat just to make it seem more real..

Since we are now moving sometime in about a month I figure it's dumb to buy anything with a change of address happening but I think that's more of an excuse?

So far I have like a couple onsies and a pair of baby jeans and a picture for the nursery... It's pretty pathetic. The only thing I know i want to order ASAP is a knit hat with a brim for the dude to wear on the way home (plus always) because those hospital caps don't do it for me... But shouldn't I feel just as excited to buy ALL THE STUFF?

Oh guys today is not super awesome. Ella freaked the fuck out at her swimming lessons this morning. She was a total mess and it was incredibly frustrating. I tried to talk to her about it afterwards, but Im not sure she was even listening? Is it possible to reason with a toddler? *sigh*

AND I just realized I put my underwear on inside out after lessons. LOL I am such a mess.

It's hard to think of boy take-home outfits so I figure any snuggly footie onesie but a cute hat is a must

I think DH's birthday presents got delivered to my parents' place yesterday!  They'll be there for him to open when we're there next month!  Yay!

This is not a normal occurrence @lizzybean? I'm not even joking. I just assume my underwear is inside out at all times. It's the cost of getting out the door in a harried looking mess....

@lizzybean I walked around the house with my pj pants on backwards and inside out the other day... How I didn't notice the backwards "pink" across my whooha the whole morning is beyond me...

I also almost cried at the store because I SWEAR they moved the dishwasher detergent. I even asked someone to tell me where it was and rather than just having her walk me there I told her to tell me the aisle number... I got half way there and forgot. It was way too embarrassing to ask again and I was so frustrated with pregnancy brain that I peaced out and told FI to get it on the way home...

Work has been so freakin boring lately.. everyday I just sit here thinking about all the stuff I have to do at home.. I'd much rather be getting the nursery done!

No I really don't know @foxslaw. She isn't scared of the water, she gets in just fine. She just didn't want to do any of the lessons today. It was bizarre. She wouldn't kick, wouldn't paddle, wouldn't climb out, wouldn't jump in, just cried or stayed still, as much as I encouraged her. It is so frustrating..

How many lessons has she had? We are doing swim lessons as well. It took us about 5 or 6 lessons for her to stop screaming/freaking out/doing nothing but crying.  Are you in the pool with her, or is she by herself/with other kids?

Today was lesson #7. The frustrating thing is that she was doing great up until last lesson. I am in the water with her. I think an issue may be that we have had a sub teacher the last two lessons. Maybe she isn't as comfortable with her as she is with our usual teacher? I hope things improve once our normal teacher is back on Thursday.

@musicgirl524 I need a good (ideally free) template site to make a business card, letter head and (ideally) portfolio through.. If you have any research power in that regard... just happens to be what I am looking for now.. But I want to be able to use the digital images on all of my media (I need graphic designer friends who will generate this for me on the way cheap)... Ideally stuff I can use in adobe programs (InDesign for the portfolio especially).

@lizzybean‌ I'm sorry that can be frustrating. I bet it is the change in teachers. I know Aidan get thrown off with change in routine. I also remember when he was a toddler he would flip out some days for no reason at all. I think it's a toddler thing. Hopefully your next swim lesson goes better.
