Hey, hey! So my allergies are better, but still here! I do not enjoy having a compromised immune system.
Welcome to first tri check-in! This board is for those of us who want to
stay in the safety of the PgAL board yet still have first tri
questions, concerns, or fears. We have had a number of new BFPs on the
main board (yay!) this week and if you would like to join in our
check-in, please do so! We have also had a number of TTCAL graduates (EXTRA HOORAY!!!). People who responded last week are tagged this week. If you aren't tagged in this post, please feel free to
join!
Answer what questions you would like, ignore the ones you don't like. Feel free to write about anything happy or anything worrying you!

Hugs to those that need them.
@beckynsean11 How did your beta and scan go on Friday?
@heathersf11 How was your NT and follow-up OB appointment?
@Bookishmomma My betas were a little bit higher than yours but I was two days farther along with each draw (16dpo 77, 18dpo 168). Have you thought about not continuing with any more betas? They didn't offer me any more betas draws an I didn't even know that I could ask for more, but it might be somewhat less stressful. I think the waiting would have been worse than starting to trust in this pregnancy, but that is just me. You do what works for
you. That said, how are you feeling/doing? Also, I was a chronic early POASer, I just never metabolized the HcG until later - 15dpo this time!
@littlecookie When do you go in for a twin recheck scan?
@natalie115 Were you able to schedule your first appointment on the 10th? How are you coping with approaching your loss milestone?
@loveinkw13 How did your scan on Thursday go? Does acupuncture help your anxiety?
@paintdadanta How was your appointment on Thursday?
@readinglove I am sorry that pains and stretching are scaring you. Early pregnancy is such a scary time after a loss(es). Deep breaths. I really encourage you to try and stay positive, and block out automatic and/or negative thoughts. The only thing I can suggest is to do something to get your mind off of it -- a good movie or book, sleeping (not sure what time it is where you live). Big ((hugs))
@lalalady54 How was your NT and MFM?
@NoeliaV How are you feeling about Wednesday? Big ((hugs)) - I know how nerve wracking u/s can be. How are you dealing with your loss milestone this week?
@1220winterbride How has this week been for you?
@Belle0720 How has your week been? How are you feeling>?
@mpiemont How did your NT scan go?
@bananaboat05 Congrats on graduating to second trimester!!!! Yay! I just wanted to ask how your ute pain is feeling? Did re-hydrating help? Do you think it was BH?
@Hawaiiansunset09 How were your beta results? Were you able to schedule an u/s?
@nursecmc How was your viability scan last week?
@bobbie1227 How have you been doing this week?
@lbdelacruz Has your spotting let up at all? How are you holding up?
@RNMoMmy17 How was your first u/s?
@eburgmama Fx for a great u/s tomorrow! Let us know how it goes. Are your pregnancy symptoms still waxing and waning?
Toodles!

Appointments scheduled: I am on every other week appointments, next appointment is November 7
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates : not until January, trying to not think about it..
QotW: What are some of the books that you will insist on reading to your baby? We read chicka chicka boom boom a lot in this house as well as I love you through and through.
I'm trying not to think about tomorrow being the same point I started bleeding last time (it's even the same day of the week). I am feeling very positive about this pregnancy though. I took DS for a drive the other day and saw a full double rainbow and the next day I turned on the radio and the lyrics "hers the rainbow I've been waiting for" were the first thing I heard. Seem like god signs to me
EDD/Week/Fruit: 7/1/15::4+5::still a poppyseed

Worries (rational or irrational)
Of course, that we're not going to get good news tomorrow.
Appointments scheduled
Tomorrow! Tomorrow! I love you, tomorrow! (obviously feeling a bit punchy about this)
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates
So, tomorrow's appointment was the one where we found our loss last time. I'm vacillating between being scared and worried, and being optimistic (because, symptoms). I keep thinking "our baby has grown more than our loss baby... or has it? What if it hasn't? Quick, run to the bathroom to check for spotting." It's strange of my last (as in, previous) pregnancy in that way.
QotW: What are some of the books that you will insist on reading to your baby?
EDD/Week/Fruit 5w/appleseed
Worries (rational or irrational) With my low and slow-rising betas, I am now obsessively worrying about ectopic pregnancy, even though I don't have any pain.
Appointments scheduled U/S on Nov. 11 (7w)
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates Passed my 1st loss milestone yesterday and hopefully will pass the second (5w3d) in a few days. A few more weeks til the 3rd.
QotW: When We Were Very Young by AA Milne (children's poems)
Worries (rational or irrational): that the measurements being a week behind are not related to incorrect dates - that the next u/s will show no progress
Appointments scheduled: Friday, Nov. 7
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: hb at next u/s
QotW: What are some of the books that you will insist on reading to your baby? Velveteen Rabbit, Corduroy, and Peter Rabbit. For some reason I love all the classic ones.

Worries (rational or irrational)
Ive been cramping/spotting some and it worries me. But I know the cramping isnt bad at all as things are changing in there. Its not bad cramping, just lots of cramping. Like I said above I have had some spotting so this morning I had a mini panic attack but the nurse reassured me...
Appointments scheduled
First ultrasound on November 3rd!! Eager to find out how many are in there! The nurse mentioned that we could have more than one.
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates
Next week I would be turning 20 weeks with the twins. Its hard. I feel guilty for being excited about this baby, and still being so sad about those milestones.
QotW: What are some of the books that you will insist on reading to your baby?
Oh gosh I honestly havent even thought about it LOL
Worries (rational or irrational) I've had some light spotting today which has totally caused PgAL brain to kick in in full force. I'd actually been doing pretty well with it until today.
Appointments scheduled Nothing till my u/s on 11/11
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates None coming up yet.
QotW: What are some of the books that you will insist on reading to your baby?
Pretty much my favorites from when I was little like The Pokey Little Puppy.
EDD/Week/Fruit July 3, 2015; 4w, 4d ; poppyseed
Worries (rational or irrational) My beta's have been strong so I'm staying positive and quite honestly trying not to focus too much on being pregnant!

First ultrasound at 6w, 6d (Nov 13)

We passed our Loss date and had a heartbeat our first ultrasound so I'll likely be a but more worried about ultrasound number two!

Worries (rational or irrational): Same as always, another loss.
Appointments scheduled: Thursday we have an early OB appt due to the past loss. I will have another US that day and am hoping for another good scan as it is our anniversary and I would hate to have it marred by bad news.
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: Last loss was at 9 weeks so I am just trying to keep it together and get past that.
QotW: I haven't really thought about it. I read a lot of Dr. Suess to my other children and of course Love You Forever.
Hope everyone else is doing well!
I loved the Poky Little Puppy as a kid and bought it for my son, but it is really wordy! I was surprised. My son is 26 months and can't sit through the whole book.

Waiting to hear when appt will be scheduled. Because of the twins and my age, they are sending me to another hospital with a high risk department. Should hear tomorrow - guessing appt will be around the 10th.

Happy anniversary!!!! How many years? Do you have any plans, aside from the early OB and u/s? Fx for a fantastic appointment! It is really hard approaching and living through your loss milestone, well, at least it was for me. I hope it isn't too bad for you!
I used to really like Dr. Seuss, but having seen the Cat in the Hat cartoon, I have really started to dislike it. Maybe it is Martin Short's weaselly voice with the rhymes, but every word of Seuss, even if I am reading it, grates on me.
