Thanks Luv! I'm actually passed my EDD. 41+2 today! No signs of LO coming soon :P I've been 2cm for the last 3 weeks. I have a doctors appt today and we are going to discuss possibly inducing tomorrow. I can't lie, I'm pretty nervous/emotional about it. I was hoping for a quick labour and a short hospital stay, but it sounds like inductions can be a long and drawn out process. So nervous!

Seriously though, how are you doing? Feeling good I hope. 33 weeks...wow! Not much longer now :-)

Oh my goodness!!  I'm so excited that the time is here already for you to meet your sweet rainbow!! 

I'm doing well other than dealing with some serious bouts of insomnia.  My brain refuses to turn off at night - I fluctuate between feelings of excitement that this is really happening and anxiety over "all the stuff" that still needs to get done :P.  I know you understand!

Thanks so much for coming out and giving us an update :-* . I hope the induction goes smoothly!!  Maybe he'll decide to join the party before, though, FX either way !

@HelloSweetie1 - I was going to post a call-out, but I wasn't sure if that was frowned upon so I'm so glad @carlsonbaby2014 did it!  I'm sorry that your Lil Pumpkin is being difficult.  I can't even imagine how much you want to meet him and how uncomfortable you must be.  I've been popping over here every couple of days looking for a birth announcement.  I will keep you in my T&Ps tomorrow.  Much love coming your way dear!

@hellosweetie1 sometimes they take longer and sometimes not.  It depends on what method  they use.  I was induced with ds#2 (he was 10 days late!) and they used the gel.  That went in at 10, he was out at 12:30.

Fx that you don't have to worry about that and he decides to make his appearance soon!

@mlal78‌ - Thanks for sharing this, it gives me hope :-) People love to share their horror stories, so I appreciate hearing from those that have had a positive induction experience.

@Hawkward‌ - Another happy story, love it! I'm hoping for a short stay and early release too. I work down the hall from LDR and so does my mother, so I will have lots of visitors popping in, and would be much happier at home. FX I get lucky like you did. We keep debating if this LO is late because he's easygoing and lazy or stubborn... what do you think? Is your DS an agreeable little fella?

41+3? Come on out, LO!

I've had two inductions. Both took awhile, one ended in a c/s (she wouldn't descend)...but focusing on the end result helped me out. Hopefully you'll get a quick labor like some of the other ladies.

Thanks everyone! The induction went well, and we had baby Jack at 1:14 this morning. He was a whopping 9 pounds, 7 oz! I was not expecting that at all. We are hanging out at the hospital until this evening, but then they are letting us go home :-) I will be super happy to sleep in my own bed, because the hospital is a horrible place for a light sleeper like me. Right now we are waiting for our 7 year old to arrive and finally meet his baby brother. I can't believe we finally have our rainbow

I totally teared up when you mentioned your older son finally meeting your rainbow. It's been a long time coming. I remember so clearly "meeting" you back when we lost out June babies.

Huge congratulations to you. Enjoy the squishy baby snuggles!
