Nerves and hoping for no delays...

Tomorrow is a one of a few big days this month for our path to adoption.  It's a hearing for the BF not directly related to our case, but could dramatically influence our case depending on how it goes. 

Please send good vibes that tomorrow's outcome will help us along a speedy path to keeping little E in our home forever.  (we still have a lot of hurdles to come)

Thanks everyone...I'm a bundle of nerves today.  His hearing is supposed to start in 30 minutes and I have no idea when I'll actually find out what happened today since it isn't directly related to E's case. 

I'll definitely post an update when I have one.

ARRRRRGH!!!!  It's been rescheduled until 12/9!!!!  Are you F'ing kidding me??  Seriously, I could balance the state budget and come up with the surplus if we stopped wasting time with rescheduling things!!  Your hearing is for X date...make it happen!

Sorry, we are on the second reschedule for our intital appearance due to some IMO stupid reasons.  All these delays are NOT in the best interest of E...they are not in the best interest of anyone really.

That must be sooo frustrating!  If everyone was ready, willing and able why should you have to wait?  Stupid court system!

There have been emails flying around all afternoon between me, the social worker and the AM of E's two older siblings since we all had an interest in what happened today.  They are just a frustrated as I am.  We are hoping this doesn't mean a delay in the court hearing next week for the initial appearance.  Basically until we get that done the clock doesn't even start ticking for the state to be able to file TPR.  She's been in our care for four months next week, no contact from either BP and no likelihood of it starting soon.  Again, how is this in E's best interest? 

Okay, I need to stop...I'm getting worked up and the little man in the belly isn't thrilled with me about it.

I can understand your frustrations on the delay.  We waited just over 4 months after placement for DS's BP's TPR hearing and never once in that time had any contact with BF.  It was definitely frustrating and nerve wracking during that time, but now seems like it was just a blip in the whole process.

@justjinny - isn't it amazing how perspective changes?  It While we were in it the 6 months to get licensed seemed like forever, but now it seems like it happened so fast!!
