Had some strong regular contractions for about 2 hours…then they fizzled and down to just some uncomfortable tightening.
Such a tease!
I am with you! I have been having contractions for the past few hours...then they died down...and now are picking back up again. I am trying to decide if they are just "poop-tractions" but I keep running to the restroom and nothing. These ones are more painful than anything I have had to date...but I am not very hopeful. Hoping they at least a little productive for my next cervical exam on Friday!
Okay WTAF. I have officially seen it all. I'm on a local moms FB page and someone posted about the birth of their baby....AND the link for their mealtrain.com page. It's like the dinner version of gofundme.
Ridiculous.
Kind of. I looked into it because the friend of mine who had a really late term loss recently set one up because I guess her church group members and whatnot were asking about when they could bring her family meals.
It's marketed as a "scheduler" for people to sign up for days to bring people meals post surgeries and babies or whatever. But really only seems less tacky if someone else sets it up for you. I guess I'd be more inclined to participate in someone's "train" because I'm not just giving them money - I'm making them cookies. Or a salad. Or whatever.
But GoogleDocs works fine too...
--- I guess my problem with it is the self promotion of it to strangers. If lets say, a friend or family member set one up and passed it around to friends/family, I wouldn't see anything wrong with it. But to set one up for yourself and post it on a public FB group page to a bunch of strangers, is horrific to me.
Hey everyone, just had a baby, here's what you can bring us to eat!
My feeding dd show is Gilmore Girls. I'm addicted. Why have I never watched this before?
I don't know why you've never seen it, but I LOVE that show...I've seen them all too many times, an nd they never get old. I've always used it as my grading TV.
This is me too! I got my husband addicted to it too and DS1 loves the theme song so much that he dances to it every time it is on and learned to say 'la la la' from the jingle they play during the episode.
